  1. This may be a silly question but I ask from experience:

Last year I traded a local LEO my Glock 17 for his almost new Stock 2 with some cash. I wasn't aware what the gun was besides knowing it was worth more than my Glock which I didn't enjoy shooting. I can shoot the gun great, my follow up shots are smooth and I can handle the weight of the gun with no problem. My concern is showing up to my first match with a higher end gun, is it a bad idea? I am not an outgoing person, I don't speak much and tend to keep to myself so I am not a flashy person in general. Will showing up with a higher end gun for my first match give other shooters the wrong idea? I only ask this because I have been involved in other hobbies where this exact thing happened regularly and people were labeled as "posers" and often shunned for trying to buy their way to the top. I have plenty of carry/compact guns I can use for a match or two if needed. I have a feeling I am over thinking the whole idea.. What are your thoughts?

  2. It has already been mentioned but I also say the M&P 22 Compact is a great starter pistol. I bought one for my 7 year old daughter last year after she proved to me she was responsible with her single shot 22 rifle. We transitioned slowly to multiple rounds and her control is great with it. The gun eats any ammo we put it in and is a soft shooter. I enjoy it myself from time to time when I want to do some quick shooting. My only issue with the gun is the rear sight blade popped out of the gun and is no where to be found. I could send it back to S&W but I plan on replacing the sights to she can do some steel challenge matches with me.

  3. Sorry if this has been covered I did a quick search and didn't see. I also searched online in general and nothing found..

I have a P320 RX Compact I wanted to use in Carry Optics but I don't like the feeling of the normal grip module so I recently purchased a X Carry grip module and swapped it over. Would this grip change take me out of the division since it technically isn't an X Carry model gun?

Similar situation, would installing a different grip module on my full size slide take me out of production? I either wanted to put my normal full size slide on my X carry grip or order the X Five grip(without the magwel). Without having the X Five slide I wasn't sure how this would effect me. Thanks!
