This will cease to be an issue as you gain more reps with the 1911. Illegal, but don't jury-rig your gun safeties, even if you can get away with it. IMHO

Set your eyes on the target and concentrate on bringing the gun to your line of sight. Needs to be cultivated at the practice range. Then reinforced on the first shots of the match. A watchful buddy helps. I tape all practice.

Long story short - anyone else feel it in their elbow?
Left elbow always sore day after. Also some soreness in the lower tricep. Weak hand "lock" is grip triangulation reference point.

3m safety walk has the best texture and most importantly best adhesive of the ones I've tried. It's desiged for outdoor use so holds up to moisture etc. they make a few colours and more importantly different textures too.
+1 ..... $1 per foot at ACE Hardware.

Wilson Bullet Proof firing group. Wolff springs. Brown thumb safety. Using a Smith, I would let him pick. Why have him "learn" your parts.

Any disassembly/reassembly videos on the Ruger PCC trigger. Want to install trigger upgrade, but don't want to go in blind.
