Welcome James! When I first read "comps" I thought you meant compensators, those are the next drug

My wallet is crying as I type.

I'm...I'm going to lose so much cash to this, I know it...

See my response above from Jan 21st.  The third response.

If you're going to be throwing powder from a powder dispenser there's

no sense getting too precise with the scale.

Use your chrono to refine your powder throw - does it make PF by a

wide enough safety margin ?   If yes, it's all okay   :)

Ah, perfect. Had skipped over that one somehow. Thanks! :D

I did not even see an agenda for this meeting prior to this post. Some significant changes in CO, that’s for sure...

Huh, I hadn't seen these either. Definitely some interesting changes - gonna need a bit of time to get through these and get some coherent thoughts together other than 'hmmmmm'.

The cheapy digitals are just as good as the expensive ones for reloading.

I'm kinda curious about this - have been considering since I read through this earlier. I use a cheap - relatively speaking - bench scale (think it's the MW? These look familiar), and I'm wondering if it's at all worth investing in something more expensive / specialized? I'm kind leading towards no but hey *shrugs*

  5. Thanks AlphaCharis! I'm slowly finding myself more and more hooked on the comp side of things. Didn't try USPSA, but I'm considering it in the future. Friends are slowly ramping things up so I'm not overwhelmed too quickly! Can't wait to learn more while I'm here. I thought I knew my stuff, but I feel like I'm starting all over again. Exciting though :D

These can be found new for around $750-800, depending on what all you get.

I paid 800.00 and bought 2 more batteries and a rapid charger for another 200.00

The cheap ones won't fly in much of any wind, I've only flown in 9 mph, but there are videos of guys in 30+ , landing would be tricky in that.

Perfect. Thanks! Might give this a closer look...

    Yes, Typhoon H.

    Just figuring it out.

Love it! Great vantage point. I've been seeing more and more videos usiing drones lately and now I'm kinda tempted to pick one up. Maybe just a cheapie until I know it's something I'd get my money's worth out of. Just out of curiosity, how much did the Typhoon set you back?

Daredevil introduces the character and they make references to things that happened on daredevil during the punisher. It's not necessary to watch but is a good idea. I personally didn't watch daredevil first but only because I didn't know.

Ah, cool. Will add Daredevil to the pre-watch list, then. Thanks!

  9. Hey hey! New forum member. Despite beinbg a bit of a collector I hadn't given comps much thought until I tagged along to a few with a friend a few months back and now I'm kinda hooked. Nothing major yet. Just a bit at my local club. Though I can see it growing from there! Looking forward to chatting with likeminded forum-goers and learning more about what's out there!

    Thanks
