  1. Well, I just had this done 3 times by my gun smith. Heres my opinion.

The bore sight should be sighted for the distance you are shooting, this  will get you on paper. It is not good enough to go out and compete. You need to spend time at the range fine tuning the sight to exactly where you want it AND to the AMMO you will be using. I have a CK Thunder open, and I have switched sight mounts, and gas pedals, and every time I make an adjustment, I have to fine tune the See More sight in. Its not hard takes about ten minutes and twenty - twenty five bullets.

  2. What i find amazing, Geek or Redneck, is that the best shooters are usually from warmer climates than where I'm from. (South east, South West, and Mid west states)It amazes me how good the competition is when I see folks shooting in Florida, Texas, Arizona, and the videos posted on this forum are impressive. Just when I think Im getting good, I see how good the rest of the country shoots, its humbling to say the least.

I will make you all feel better. I have 7 kids. The oldest is 15 and can't wait to drive and the youngest is 2. Free time? I shoot production and it is always fun when the fat guy with 7 kids beats the young guys w stis. It's a no loose situation.

We are going to a jr pheasant hunt in two weeks.

    Wouldn't trade it for anything.

    Thats pretty cool!

Curious if it was a hard case, pistol sleeve, soft zipper case? I have been warned when using a zippered softcase or told I’m sweeping myself, I’m like I have to unzip the case to get pistol. What do most people use for .22 pistols since not many holsters?

I use a zippered case, never a problem
