I shot my first SC match a few weeks ago. I shot my USPSA CO gun and a RFPO. I shot it with the intention of shooting a match or two working on transitions for USPSA….. Needless to say I’m shopping for a 10/22 for RFRO. But that’s another story.
The issue I had with my rimfire was my cheap Walker electronic ear muffs were not resetting fast enough to hear my hits. I ended up doubling on several stages unsure of hits. My question is what is everyone using for hearing protection? If I’m going to get serious about this I need to be able to hear my hits and not waste the time reengaging target.
Thanks!

I very much like the SRO. The 5moa is pretty big turned all the way up.

I am working on setting up a PCC. For now I will throw an Aimpoint T1 in a larue mount that I have on another rifle. Since this will strictly be a gaming gun I would like to run a CMore. I have only used these on pistols. My question is for a PCC would you buy the standard railway or tactical model?
Thanks!

Vogel's Glock sights advertise a .040 FO size. I love these sights and they are by far the smallest fiber optic I have on a Glock.

So this weekend I shot a local match with 7 stages. It was a great match with tons of complex stages. The one stage I had a wholesale trainwreck on was the classifier: "On the move". I ran a solid time and score except for 2 NS-M on my second string. I was surprised! It really bothered me as I could not figure out what went wrong.... Until I looked at the video of my stage. My grip going into the middle targets was horrible! I landed an alpha on the 1st shot on each target and a NS-M on the second of each target. Long story short: never underestimate an easy stage and video helps a lot.

Thanks for the input everyone. I ran one the other night for the first time in an indoor shoot the other night. A couple drops and concrete. So far so good. Dropped it loaded on my shop floor a dozen times as well.

All I use it the 3M safety walk tape. I clean the gun with non acetone fingernail polish remover and heat things grip with a heat gun (don't take much don't over heat it) then put the tape on and then heat it up with the heat gun. It stays stuck for a long time.
I 2nd his this the 3M tape has great adhesive even with no heat.

I have a couple ETS 140mm 19rd mags on the way. Does anyone have any experience with these? I currently run stock Glock mags with a TTI +5 base plate. These only seem to hold 19rds reloadable(I can cram 20 in but I doubt it would cycle.). If these function well I'm hoping this will be a cheap alternative.
I will update as I use these mags in the mix.

I have found that I need a lot more ammo on hand just to keep all the mags on my belt topped off. I.e. 80 rounds on me, shoot 2 25 round stages. By the time I shoot 2 of 5 stages I have close to the 150 round total "spoken for"(on my belt.)

I like 3M Safety Walk.

Limited Glock 35. I grew up learning from LEO Glock shooters so I figured I'd start out with a platform I'm experienced with.

Thanks for the input! I hadn’t considered that I just need to be more confident in calling my shots. Definitely changes my perspective.
