  1. What we do at our club, which has been quite successful, is to tell the shooters than shootings a option, pasting and resetting isn't. Anybody that continuosly won't help is counseled on range etiquette. If that fails then we will apply a unsportsmanlike penalty. We've yet to have to do this. Peer pressure and proper range attitude works.

  2. Hi folks..well, the 2010 NC Section match is in the books. We had approx 235 registered shooters and approx 229 showed. This sets a new record for the NC Sectionals. I can't say enough good about the RO's, Stats, support staff and the shooters themselves as they all pitched in to help paste and reset the range. We did have a few issues (No chrono as we somehow broke 2, and we overlooked having more porta potties than we did). Our range sufaces were a "little" muddy but were in surprisingly good condition considering that we had 7-9 inches of rain in 2 days. Again, thanks to all that came and worked and shot our match..Bill.

  3. Great match..I was part of the "lost boys" squad..356. Gary Stevens got to know us well. I can't say enough good about the match, the stages and the RO's. I've been around for a "while" but I have to say that this group, over all, was the hardest working group I've seen in a while. Thanks guys. (I wasn't too fond of the hybrid squadding however).

  4. I posted this on the IDPA forum the other day but never got a answer so I'll ask here. What was the rationale for the new rules? I'm neither pro or con on them, I just would like to know the "why".

  5. Did anybody else notice that the HK-93's sights had to be adjusted with each shooter. I wonder if the staff put the sights on "0" after each run. I hated to see Blake go but he handled it with all the grace and dignity of a true champion.
