  1. 6.2.4 Subject to the prior approval of the Match Director, a competitor may

enter a match in more than one Division. However, the competitor may

compete for match score in only one Division, and that must be the first

attempt in all cases. Any subsequent attempts in another Division will

    not count for match recognition.

Do I understand this correctly at a level II match they can open it up to Shooting 2 divisions as long as the second dividision is not for match placement?

  2. As a former Marine I always give the other services a good spirited ration of crap when it comes fighting, but over the last 10 years my respect and admiration for our military has exponentially grown as everyone has performed amazingly in very trying circumstances. Who would have guessed the most effective/dangerous guy in theater that day was a air force guy on the ground!

  3. One day you wake up and say what good did it really do....

A decent style of living and a little extra is enough... IMO anyway....

I have done over 4000 hours a year for 16 of the last 20 years and I look around me and wonder why.

I have always went where the money is (off shift/travel/overtime) and I envy (but could never) settle for a lower overall pay lower hours type work with more time off, my balance of work/leisure has always been badly skewed toward work. At 48 I look around and have no idea why I have always worked harder, as it hasn't got me anywhere. I would think you would be better off not chasing a dollar, go with the job that you will enjoy the most, and keep a balance of work to leisure. But I have never been able to that, I'm a plow horse, I would not recommend my path. I work for money and find satifaction in hobbys, real satisfaction in work would be amazing.

  4. It is the clubs responsibility In my Opinion to make sure no one ever touches a gun at your event that hasn't gone through a new shooter briefing, with all commands, basic safety stuff etc. Then they should assign these people if they didn't come with experienced friends to someone to help them through the day. There is way to much going on to not help new shooters if you want them to be safe, enjoy themselves and come back next month.

  5. I have the Inov-8 Unisex Oroc 350 Spiked Training Flat and I find the metal spikes keep my feet from sliping on wood, they are as comfortable as any shoe I have ever owned but always thake them off after a match because it would be simular to walking through your house with steel golf shoes.

  6. My knowledge of Taurus was/is limited to a knock off beretta (my brother owned one) , revolvers (I owned one) , and 1911's (my friend owns one) So when i heard that she was going to shoot for them I went to the web site and clicked through all of their product line wondering what a competitive shooter would use named Taurus. I have never been on their web site and I did see some interesting carry guns that I have never seen before. But product exposure tricks like sponsorship would never work on me.
