Are you sure the screw isn't to long?

They are .187 thick unless you stack them. In order to get to .75 you will need 4. I would call and find out what they are made of and the weight.

I use the standard spring for SV and HS ammo. A good lube does wonders no dry lube for me.

Dump the Winchester garbage stick with Mini Mags. Polish the spring guide and charging handle. Look for sharp edges on the bolt. Better yet replace the bolt and charging handle and spring guide with a Kidd. Scotch bright the inside of the receiver and check for screws from the sight base protruding into the receiver.

Our out law matches run on monday evening 2X a month 20-30 shooters. Four stages four strings six rounds. Some stages have six plates some four plates but six rounds per string all stages. One will be a speed stage . One might have a mandatory reload. At least one will have six plates shot in a certain order that changes each string. A sitting start gun on the barrel back to firing line is not uncommon. Another will be strong hand one string weak hand one string free style two strings. They take about 2-2.5 hrs. We run all SC classes and a micro carry class a little something for every one. The only people we loose are the ones that can't hit anything and aren't interested in improving they shoot two matches and give up.

I spent most of my working career in the tool and die trade and can say from experience some people are way better than others when it comes to knowing how things should fit together.

Have a gunsmith look at it you may have the wrong screws, threads in the receiver striped, sight mounting screws protruding through sight base.

C-more and TK mount the weight dosen't bother me..

Nothing wrong with cutting the rear sight with a hacksaw to remove it. Some times when they press in the sight it is to tight and galls and are almost impossible to remove without cutting them. As far as using a Dremel unless you have a lot of experience using one and are real steady the hack saw is safer. I was in the tool and die field most of my working career and can tell you a Dremel is a great time saver if the operator knows what he is doing. I have also witnessed the results of someone that thought they knew what they were doing.

I had that problem. The first thing I did was the TK mag tune and break the sharp edge on the chamber. Out of six mage five are blue. The next thing was remove the mag eject plunger and spring. Last I replaced the extractor. Every step the feeding became more reliable. Over at rimfirecentral they have quite a few threads on this problem. The last recommendation was replace the mag release with an aftermarket one.
What annoys me the most about this my S&W Victory fed everything right out of the box no tuning or troubleshooting and cost me $250.00 less.

Make sure the screws holding the sight to the mount are not protruding through the mount and bottoming out on the receiver.

Brownell's makes a product called Cerrosafe. It is a low temp chamber casting metal that you can melt with a heat gun and use as you did the epoxy.
Use a cleaning rod with patch instead of ear plug. If you do screw it up just reheat it and it will flow back out.
A second vote for this almost impossible to mess up the chamber this way.

A lot of the complaints for this on the Ruger forum ended up being loose screws.

The first thing I would check are the two screws holding the upper to the lower. The torque speck is 65 inch pounds. The next change ammo if that doesn't work.
Then call Ruger for a mailing label they built it and expect the customer to do there QC for them let them fix it.

Two guys I compete with and my self had the same results with 147G Xtreme bullets. We changed to 147 Boyou bullets problem solved. It is not the barrel.

I had the same problem on an M&P when I switched the mag release to the right side. The release tab would catch the mag follower spring.

I use a 686+ for SC makes me concentrate on my shoots. The last match I used 150 rounds for a 145 round match. It's fun beating shooters half my age when they use hicap auto loaders.
