  1. Well M1 lifter did not work in my M2...they are slightly different where the shell release rides. Just enough to allow shells to pop back out of the mag tube.

Put my welded M2 lifter back in and will teak it a little more...also ordered a new Nordic magazine spring and will cut it a bit longer this time.

  2. Actually got a M1 lifter today. Going to try in my M2 tomorrow to see if it eliminates the issues described above. Had two of the described hangups at our last 3-gun match...was able to bump the charging handle to get the shells to feed the rest of the way. My welded lifter may need a little more bend in the tip but I don't see how that would help the shells from diiging in the sharp portion of the barrel extention around the extractor area. I hoping the M1 style with the slight radius on the tip will the shells centered better!?

  3. I'm wanting to start shooting some Heavy Metal Optic division here and there.

Was curious if anyone had some suggestions on a optic for an AR10 type carbine. In my area we are pretty much limited to bays 100 yards and less with the average bays being 25 to 35 yards.

I've been running an Aimpoint Micro in Tactical which I've been real happy with...considering our lack of distance locally I had debated just running another Aimpoint Micro!? Also considered something in the 1-4X or 1-6X range but with my astigmatisms if the 1X isn't true it really bugs out my eyes. I had a Millet DMS that I thought would be the ticket, but the 1X screwed with my eyes so I sold it...I really liked the circle/dot reticle though.

    Thanks gang!

  4. If you want the best of the best 3-gun Benelli you need to contact Mike Cyrwus at Accurate-Iron.com

The work he does to Benellis is far beyond the quality of Salient. And he does it for hundreds less.

I'm interested in some work from Mike. Any idea on where to find pricing? Website being revamped...

  5. Hey gang,

Took mine out tonight to put a little bend in it hoping to get easier loading...

Well bent too far and shells were coming back on me. Took back apart and took some bend out. With a fully loaded 8 round tube, I am dropping the shotgun from about a foot or more onto my carpeted floor...no shells coming back now. Should I be good to go?

For what it's worth loading feels no easier...need to send it off to the pros!

  6. I have what I consider to be small hands as well. Using CCW four round caddies I can regularly load eight shells at or under 7 seconds. I've been practicing and broke a few 6.5 seconds tonight.

Still wondering if my hand size is holding me back, need more practice, or go to the Load 2 system.

  7. I don't completely get it either but don't have a standard stock to compare it against.

All I can say is that I fired 108 rounds yesterday (nothing heavy...2 3/4" 3 dram 1 1/8 oz) and I don't feel a thing today from it. The stock must flex and I like the soft recoil pad too.

  8. The wait may finally be over boys!

Been talking to Brant Sabau at GG&G today about the single point mount for the M2. He said one of the main hold ups to getting one out is the fact that they do not have a M2 available there to work off of.

After some discussion Brant asked if I would be so kind as to loan them my M2 for a week or two and they would get some made! I'm shipping it off tomorrow or Friday and will receive it back with a mount included!

So give me around two weeks and I should be able to post some pics of the mount and hopefully you guys will be able to order thereafter as well!

Got my Benelli back from GG&G today! Was suppose to take two to three weeks...

Regardless the new M2 mounts are really nice. They sent me three styles in sets of front and rears...loop, QD, and slotted. Will post some pics when I can get some free time.

  9. I'm assuming that your lifter has been welded up?

I was having the exact same problem after mine was welded. I put a 10* bend on the tip of the lifter per a thread by KurtM. Runs 100% now. The welded lifter is longer and was pushing the nose of the shells too high.

  11. Typical Florida afternoon...it thunder stormed. Didn't get any pics in our beautiful sunlight. Here's a crappy cell phone pic but you get the idea...very similar to the photos above.

I just followed kurtm's instructions now she's a champ! Guess I could get the bolt lightened still!

  12. Do you have any pictures of your lifter welded and bent? I'd like to see what you did. I'm having the same problem with my Benelli M2 after the C-Rums mod. Thanks.

I'll try to take some this afternoon...I actaully heading to the range with it shortly.

The bend isn't very big but it sure took care of my problem!
