1.10 that doesn’t sound right. I have a couple of 9 major from Akai and I can load berrys or xtreme heavy plated all the way out to 1.20 and pass the plunk test. My normal length is 1.175. Also I don’t believe he recommends auto comp he recommends hs6 or aa7 or shooter world major pistol which is the same as aa7
my max OAL for montana gold cmj are 1.18 but i bough a bunch of JHP since that seems to be a common bullet used. I now found out i can only load them to a mal OAL of 1.13 but they will only plunk test and twist at 1.10

Sprig Bless your heart. Who would of ever thought of to do that. I already emailed him. But you know its the weekend so he probably spending time with his family.
You know what the purpose of forums like this are for? Thats right to see if other people have had the same issue. Maybe someone else has already talked to him about a similar issue etc. or maybe loading to 1.10 is fine. But thanks for being so helpful.

so i have 2 questions. does anyone know the weight of the recoil spring in a stroked akai shipped from him?
this is for 9 Major.
my main questions is is 1.10 to short to load with autocomp? I check the OAL of my barrel and it seems it needs 1.10 with montana gold 124grain JHP to plunk test correctly.
From all the other load data i see here 1.165 is the preferred length. The barrel is a KKM.

Maybe a silly question, but what do you do about locking the slide back?
It's a concern for me because at some club events the gun needs to be at rest and slide locked back and the mag removed so the RO can confirm that weapons are clear before sending folks down range to reset things like pins.
confused by that. in uspsa the RO checks the gun at unload and show clear, than the gun just goes in holster. no reason for the slide to be locked back.

180 Grain blue bullet 4.1grain of titegroup. 1.15 oal

i have one on my CZ CTS and CZ TS. I did have to fit it. took about 5-10 mins with dremel too. So far i'm liking it alot. I feel it helps establish your initial grip on the gun alot.
the back square part has to be rounded for it to pass through the slide. -
Back up gun and Pretty much every spring slide stop and exteactor.

Be prepared to explain your reasons to the RM ... If this is the case, he may have a management issue he needs to address.
I would have. No issues doing that. I havent seen it in the rule book book or if this has ever been brought up in the past and if there had been a ruling on it.
Would be on past match experience with ro

At a lvl 2 or 3 match can a shooter request a different RO or the rangemaster to run them if they have issues with a certain RO?

I would say its fine in CO and OPEN, and illegal in every other division.
from their web site " SEE THE MICRO OPTIC IN ACTION " they call it an optic so I would go with that.
from a shooting with it in CO perspective I would say it is probably not going to be very competitive at all because the sight only works if you are all ready aiming directly at your target much if any misalignment and you will be doing the c-more shuffle. most shooters in CO are looking for the largest sight they can get that will hold up to being slide mounted. also this sight is not adjustable you mount it and then hope, good luck on that 20yd plate rack.
you mentioned not wanting to mill your slide for an optic, easy solution get a dove tail adapter, they work just fine
i sure they meant to say is a minor fiber optic.

we have some LEO's that show up be but we never see them again. the 2 that have stuck around and still shoot at first couldn't believe people could shoot liek that after watching a few GM's go.
as others have said alot of it is ego. they dont want to get beat or look bad. -
it would not be legal per the rule book.
the contour changes because of the flutes. -
This definitely wasn't a DQ situation.

Utah state is always a good match.

The gun is new. They said they would throat it for me. The gun can load the Montana gold CMJ out to 1.180 and pass the plunk test. But the JHP will only pass the plunk test at 1.10. i did a max oal length test on them and it came out to 1.13 but they wont spin in the barrel during plunk test. i have to load them down to 1.10 to get them to spin.
