  1. Bladetech holster, and get the Henning upgrade kit with springs and firing pin.

Polish internals that rub when you pull the trigger.

Thanks, I will get the kit. Probably getting a leather holster from hbe that was suggested in a pm. Apparently not everyone thinks I am a lazy idiot. Again, thanks for your time. Russ
  2. Sorry, this is the place for tanfoglio info. Last I checked it was an ipsc production gun, not that I care. I was excited about a new purchase, please forgive me.

If you read my post, you would know I didn't ask for tinkering tips, I wanted to know if there were parts that were recommended to make firing 10mm through this platform safer and more reliable/ accurate. I would pay a smith for a trigoer job if after firing it thought it was needed.

Perhaps this isn't the place to ask these questions considering I shoot 10mm frequently and the majority of you strive for the weakest 9mm loads permissible by guidelines in your games.

I will take my ball and go play elsewhere, just wanted to defend my original questions.

    Good day, Russ

  3. I finally made a decision and ordered a 10mm limited pro. I have wanted a witness for years and am quite excited.

Holster suggestions and henning parts upgrades would be welcomed.

A special thanks to intercooler for answering all my questions and to this site are in order. I plan on breaking it in with the new sig 180gr fmj.

Not a nuclear load but a bit snappier than the run of the mill bulk ammo.

Need to order a holster asap so any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Russ

  4. Damn, threads like this worry me! I want the "ultimate" platform for my favorite cartridge, the 10mm. I have toyed with getting a tanfoglio for years after reading Intercoolers many threads. It just seems like there is too much tinkering for me. I got a kimber eclipse sorted out but ended up selling it because of the offer you can't refuse scenario.

I have a big catering next weekend that will leave me with about a grand or so to toy with.

The kimber wasn't too hard to figure out and ran fine till I started playing with underwood loads. I just am not up for dropping a grand on a dream gun then spend my summer getting it to run. Maybe I will just try the sig....

I will be curious to see how this resolves.

    Russ

  5. Single action only would be the Match. If you want a killer DA/SA the Limited Pro is very nice! Every so often you can find a Stock II in 10mm at that price.

So between the limited pro and the stock 2 which way would you go? I am on buds, Davidson and oak Hill right now. Leaning towards a lifetime warranty as eaa warranty troubles me.

    Thanks again, Russ

  6. Thanks for the reply, I think I am a member there, I know all your work and have seen your results on 10 ring. I have about 900$ available and wanted something a bit "nicer".

What would you grab in that range? If you think the match is the way to go I could always grab 5 or 6 boxes of underwood. Thanks, Russ

  7. Hi, new here but not to 10mm. Have a 1066, kimber eclipse, and both the 20 and 29 glocks.

I want a witness to target shoot with that will handle hot loads.

I don't want to drop a ton of cash, been looking at limited pro and the stock 1.

I see the differences as stated on website but want to know what you find the differences to be. Also, if saving a bit more cash would benefit me, which other model would you select. They look like great guns and I look forward to owning one. Thanks in advance. Russ
