  1. The dry fire drill that helped my transitions the most was a Blake Drill using a metronome.

Set up three targets, turn on the metronome, and put two on each target, one shot per click.

Start slow, say 60 bpm, so there's plenty of time to confidently call the last shot on a target, snap your eyes to the next target, drive the gun there, and then call the first shot on that target.

Gradually increase the tempo and repeat. Don't cheat on the shot calling. And practice in both directions.

This drill is how I learned how to move my eyes first and then the gun.

Great drill. Seems to be helping already

  2. Thank you OP!

    I just ordered a CM2000.

Wow. Congrats to anybody who scored a SD before it sold out. That's a hell of a deal. It was only a couple of days ago my gun guy said he can't remember ever seeing Dillon presses "on sale".

Yeah, thats what I thought when I saw it. I figured I should share it.

    Glad you could use it.

It appears all is well too. My items have been processed and tracking number via FedEx issued... no movement yet, but it's Sunday and Memorial Day weekend so I didn't expect it.

  3. Yeah, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I actually had one ordered. Saw you post and kinda thought I maybe made a mistake as I didn't even consider the holes maybe being TOO BIG.

Got the handguard today and I don't think many people will have an issue with the holes. I've got skinny long fingers and I would have to actively try to get my pinky in there... maybe if it lined up perfectly.

Seems great though, machining is very nice, super light, no sharp edges really. It's not the most comfortable but it's certainly not uncomfortable.

I'm not affiliated with them at all, but it seems like a good deal. Not sure if they're legit but don't see anything bad about them.

**I posted this in the dillon reloading section, but looking through more of their stuff, it seems like there's some decent reloading items to pickup**
