  1. I've got a $250 gift certificate from Real Avid and I was looking at either getting their AR15 ARMORER'S MASTER KIT or selling the certificate.  Has anyone worked with Real Avid equipment? Is it good quality? Have you had issues? Were they easy to work with if you had issues?

Also if you've got recommendations for a good AR15 armorer course, I'd like to get some paper certificates behind me.

    Thanks

  2. I've put 500 rounds through mine now. Seems to cycle well and no issues with accuracy. I have had a lot of cycling issues that are due to the magazine, ETS 33 and 20 rounders. I dont think it's due to the bolt though.

It comes as a full unit and there is a weight plug in the back that it held in place by an o-ring so you can easily just push it out the back. Construction seems solid. I'll let you know more after I put 100 rounds through it later this week exclusively with glock brand mags.

I've include to a link of a video of it in action and also a strange malfunction that I had that again the bolt shouldn't have anything to do with.

Are you looking for something for home? I would think any regular tackle box would give you a good amount of part storage with either individual parts organizers containers or slide out drawers.

Yes in home so I need large enough to hold a lot with lots of small tight fitting drawers but easy enough to move. I thought about tackle boxes but I dont know the good names and was hoping some had a suggestions.

  4. I'm looking to see if any new parts organizers are out there? I started with a smaller Plano and still use it for travel but I need a big one for all the pins, gas blocks, buffers, BCGs I've acquired.  If anyone has suggestions of tackle boxes, tool organizers, or anything else that would be about the size of a large duffel bag Or any other suggestions I would love to hear them. My intent is to  Have all of my parts in one  Box that I can easily see them and keep all of the small parts well organized and separated

  5. Has anyone done any modifications on the Armalite 13.5 and had any luck? I mean may a lightened bolt, different buffer weights and styles, different stock, different drips, etc.

I'm also wondering how much you can drill out the brake. I've got mine drilled almost out to the slots for the flathead screwdriver. I think I'm good with it there but just curious how open you can make them.

Finally, what sort of groups are you shooting at 200, 300, 400? I Was doing a 1.5 moa group at 200.l this morning and will be working my technique at 100 this afternoon to see if I can get to 1 moa.
