  1. TPC has a few great boot camps on schedule for the next three months. If you have been looking for training, come visit us in St George, UT! Our curriculum is developed to the latest techniques by the director of training Ron Avery.

The TPC Handgun Boot Camp builds a solid foundation of core technique; specifically adapted to you, your shooting goals, and the equipment you choose to use. along with mental, physical and emotional discipline.

It is an intense 3-day course that fully utilizes the time we have with you – both daytime and evening – because we realize your time and investment is valuable. Average round count is 1700 rounds. We train hard, staying on the range all day.

Using the best training methodology in the world for teaching reactive shooting, you will put those principles into practice with shooting exercises, drills and training challenges. Mindset, discipline, perseverance, technique and gear will be rigorously tested.

Each day, we will encourage you to “up your performance” and increase your personal bests. We will measure your overall performance through challenge exercises and competitions. You will be competing with your fellow students as part of the exercises. These are fun, add stress, and let you know where you really stand.

Expect to feel challenged, expect to be tired, and expect to feel exhilarated as you reach a new personal best of shooting performance under pressure.

Tactical Performance Center is located in St George, UT. About two hours out of Las Vegas.

  3. Rifle Dynamics Red Oktober Kalashnikov

    rokflag2rd.jpg

    October 29-30, 2016

Few, if any firearms have influenced the course of history more than the Kalashnikov series of assault rifles. Easily manufactured, tough as nails, simple enough for any conscript soldier or freedom fighter to operate, the AK is the most popular combat rifle in the world.

Unfortunately, the American AK is left behind when it comes to fun competitive shooting matches, in modern 3-Gun and Carbine matches it is simply outpaced by high-speed and highly modified AR-style rifles.

We at the ROK still love our ARs, 3-Gun matches and high-speed shooting. But, there is a soft spot in our heart for the Kalashnikov rifle and we find it sad that there’s no good competitive outlet for the AK in American shooting sports.

In the ROK, we have built a match that is challenging and exciting, all while shooting with a standard, inexpensive factory AK and surplus ammo. Stages in the match will celebrate the long and storied history of the “Kalash”.

If you love the AK, you don't want to miss this match! Vendors are excited to support the competition, and there will be all kinds of media on hand to record the action.

The match is held in St George, UT at the SUPS range. We have hosted and designed many huge events, including Hard as Hell multigun, 3 gun nation western regionals, USPSA nationals, and more! Only a two hour drive from Las Vegas.

    Registration is now open!

  4. Most of this information is copied from last year but I don't know of any major format changes. Two FUN days at the SUPS range in St George, UT.

You will shoot all day Saturday, most of Sunday and there will also be Shootoffs.

6 stages of Steel Challenge. Not necessarily the official stages, but 4 to 5 strings of 5 shots on static steel, with worst thrown out.

6 stages of action steel. 32 rounds. This is what we do on our Tuesday Night Steel matches, only bigger than the usual stages we have. Consider it IPSC with only steel.

6 stages of par-time steel (some call this style "pro-am" stages. Basically, up to 40 targets out there, go get what you can in the time allowed.

Prize table is order of finish for top 20 across all divisions, and random after that.

General match, with the following divisions:
Production, Limited, Open, Single Stack, L10, PCC, Open Revolver
