Thanks for the responses and help.
Has anyone set the center of the donut for zero at a 100yds or so? I know what I'm going to do when I engage targets quickly that are closer than that...............I will put the center of the donut right where I expect to hit! If I set it up for center @ 100yds will I be able to acurately use the other crosshair lines? Just curious. This scope will be on a flattop.

My question is will a TA11 sight in correctly on a flattop? I prefer the donut to the chevron but I understand the TA11F is better for the flattop. Can anyone tell me what I will run into as I sight in the TA11?

Any thoughts or info on the LMT Defender? Info is hard to come by on that model.

buy Dawson base pads and it becomes massively easier.
Thanks all for the help. They do come apart very easy and I didn't mess anything up in the learning process. What makes the Dawson ones easier? I got mine from them but they have the "star" base on them even though they are "tuned" by Dave.

Can anybody direct me to an illustration or example of the correct procedure to take apart 2011 mags? I'm making the jump from Glock to my new 2011 and I read a lot about correct cleaning and care of the mags. Any pics or help would be appreciated.

Try calling Dawson Precision or Heinie. They may sell spares.
Their numbers can be found at the following websites:
www.dawsonprecision.com
www.heinie.com
Thanks, I give that a try tomorrow.

Does anyone know where I can get the front sight screws that fit aftermarket Glock sights? I'm not having much luck finding some spares.

Thanks KurtM. I do want the rest of the lines to be correct. So I will set it up as recommended and "learn" to do it correctly.
