  1. Registration goes live tonight, February 2nd at 9pm EST!

    https://practiscore.com/battle-in-the-bluegrass-ix/register

Sponsored shooters please put your sponsor name in registration comments.  Squad requests can also be made there.

Separate email will be sent over the weekend to confirm if you're in the match or wait listed, and will include payment instructions.

Squadding will open Saturday, February 10th.

  2. Battle in the Bluegrass IX is set for April 20-21, 2018 at Bluegrass Sportsmen's League in Wilmore, KY.

Match fee $100. Production & Single Stack only, one day format. Saturday fills quickly, so if you know you can shoot on Friday (with staff), I suggest going ahead and registering for that day.

Registration to open Friday, February 2nd at 9pm EST.  We'll be using Practiscore for registration, link will be posted next week.

If you would like to volunteer as staff or would like sponsor info to pass along to your people, please let me know!

  3. FAQS:
    1. I registered and got a confirmation, am I in the match? Answer: You may be, or you may be wait listed depending on how many people registered before you. Once we wade through the submissions we will email everyone who gets wait listed.

    2. I registered but didn't get a confirmation, am I in the match? Answer: BGSL's server only allows a certain number of emails to go out each hour (hey, we're not a Fortune500 company, bear with us), so yours will probably be delayed. If you hit submit, your info got recorded and see #1 as to whether you are in the match or not.

    3. Paypal gave an error/I didn't pay/I paid twice/that second tshirt was $30 instead of $15. Answer: I get/check all that info when going through the submissions. No worries, I'll make sure you don't shoot the match for free, but I also won't steal your money 1f642.png:) I'll email you to get everything sorted once my head is back above water.

    4. I got wait listed, now what? Answer: a- you can wait it out until closer to the match to see what happens. b- you can volunteer to move to Friday. c- you can ask to be removed from the wait list/match and I'll refund your money. Starting around the first of March I usually send a weekly email to those on the wait list to let you know where you stand.

    5. Where/when do we squad? Answer: We'll be using USPSA self squadding. It is not currently available, but we'll post FB/ENOS/email/skywrite/smoke signal when you're good to go!

  4. If you paid twice, I'll get it sorted out once I get through the submissions.

You should get a registration confirmation, however our server only allows a certain number of emails out within a certain time frame (and it's sending multiple when someone hits "Submit") so it's probably just delayed.

Just hang tight, I'll be sending notes out over the weekend for those who are on the wait list.

  5. REGISTRATION LINK

Registration opens at 9PM EST tonight, Jan 27.  REPEAT....9PM EST.  Anyone who registers earlier than that will have their submission deleted.

Squadding requests can be made in the comments section of registration.  We'll do our best to honor them on a first come, first serve basis depending on open slots.  We will not hold spots for names listed that are either on the wait list or have not yet registered.

    Looking forward to seeing everyone!

  6. Battle in the Bluegrass is back for its 8th year!

    April 7-8, 2017
Level II Production & Single Stack only
    MD: Shana Scarberry
    RM: Gary Stevens
Registration: January 27th at 9pm EST
Will update with link closer to opening
Match fee: $100, no refunds after March 15th

The match filled up within 15 minutes last year, so if you can shoot on Friday, register for Friday to shoot with staff and sponsors.  We will open a wait list for both days (if needed).

Squadding requests can be sent to scarberry.shana@gmail.com.  We will do our best to honor on a first come first serve basis depending on room, but  cannot hold spots for names that have not registered or are on the wait list at the time squadding opens.

Sponsor requests and staff volunteer requests can also be sent to the email above.  Looking forward to seeing everyone out again this year!!

  7. Online squadding update! Don't worry if you haven't received an email with your PIN yet! Online squadding should be updated and emails sent out this coming weekend (Jan 23/24). I'll be sure to let everyone know when it's been taken care of. Anyone who submitted squad requests, we will try our best to get you together!

Thanks again for making this such a successful match year after year! Looking forward to seeing everyone in April!

  8. Update to Registration go live date for Battle!

Due to a work travel conflict, registration will be pushed back one week to Friday, January 15th, 8pm EST. Based on how quickly everything went last year and the number of emails received in the first several hours, we felt it best that Justin, our registration guy, be on the ground for it and not on a plane.

Thanks for understanding, and looking forward to seeing everyone in April!

  9. Battle in the Bluegrass VII is officially a go, so mark your calendars for April 8-9, 2016!

The Bluegrass Sportsmen's League Pistol Division will again be hosting its annual USPSA Single Stack & Production Championship with 9 stages plus Chrono, awesome prize table, and equally awesome staff. BGSL is located in Wilmore, KY.

Registration will go live January 8, 2016 at 8pm. Based on this past year's response to online registration (full with waitlists after just 3 hours!), be sure to set a reminder!

We'll never turn down good help, so if you're interested in working the weekend, PM me (Shana). I'll be MD for this year's match so any questions, complaints, suggestions, or wisdom you'd like to share should come to me :) Looking forward to seeing everyone in April!

  10. REGISTRATION UPDATE!
Both Saturday and Sunday are now FULL! Wait lists have been started for both days, so continue to register as we'll fill spots as they become available (match fee not charged until officially in the match).

Also, we just opened 25 spots for FRIDAY! Registration page has been updated, and there's only 3.5 weeks left to sign up! Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

  11. Quick update on registration. We currently have 124 shooters (not including staff) registered, with approximately 30 spots open on Saturday and 45 on Sunday.

If you registered this past week, expect to receive your PINS sometime today. Until the match gets closer, self squadding will be updated about once a week. Squad requests can be sent to me via PM or email scarberry.shana@gmail.com.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in October!
