  1. Yes, I did but have only had my  G34 Gen 5 less than a week.  Surprisingly I find the slide releases every time when I load a new mag at normal competition speed without hitting the slide release with my thumb.  So far the feeds have been reliable, but we'll see.    If I load a mag slowly, then I have to hit the slide release with my thumb.

  2. I recently put the Glock extended mag release on my Glock 34 Gen 4. The Glock 34 Gen 4 does not come from the factory with the extended release. The length difference is very slight. I found more improvement by bending the stock mag release spring and eventually changing to a reduced power mag release spring from Rock Your Glock.

These changes reduce the force required on the release button to drop the empty mag. Bending the spring causes the button to protrude less from the grip so the extended release helps counteract that effect.

  3. Won't be ordering 165's from Xtreme; neighbor sent me these pictures.

Have him contact Xtreme, they have very good customer service and will make it right. I have used a lot of their bullets and never had anything like that.

If it is an Xtreme's issue.....

It is best IMO to contact manufacturer then post with outcome versus trashing a manufacturer on a forum.

    More 165s for me☺

I have loaded over 5000, probably closer to 10,000, 165gr 9mm Xtreme's and have never seen any quality issues with the bullets.

  4. I have loaded and shot over 5000 165 gr Xtremes through my Glock 34 Gen 4 with stock barrel and recoil spring assembly. 2.8 gr of Titegroup at 1.155 OAL gives me reliable power factor, and acceptable accuracy. I've never had a problem with stabilization or cycling.

  5. Bumping this back up to see if anyone is still using the 165's? I haven't loaded any as of late as I have been running 147's but still have a few thousand 165's on the bench. I plan to load a few hundred this evening and try them in my 5" M&P with the Apex barrel. They ran great with the factory barrel so hopefully it will be the same with the Apex, with improved accuracy hopefully.

I continue to use the 165's. 2.8gr of Titegroup at 1.155 OAL gets me 130PF through my Glock 34. I just checked it this past weekend to be sure it was consistent. This is my most recent 10 shot PF data.

    132.33 131.34 133.15 132 135.13 131.51 133.15 132.33 133.98 130.35
  6. I have a LnL and use the Hornady LED strip. It costs about $14.00 half of what you pay for the in-line fabrications model. I have mine mounted so that the top of the strip curves around over the top is as close to the underside of the die as possible. The in-line fabrications design is better I think but mine works well and either light, whichever one you get, is a must have option in my opinion.

This is what I use. I shopped around for an eBay strip and figured any savings wasn't worth it on this. No complaints.
