Then take advantage of the return policy. That sucks. I just bought a new 1050. 1100 looks the same but probably a little better. Oh well.

I run a bunch of graphite through my hoppers before the first use. Eliminates all static and powder clumping issues.
Yeah I kinda do the same thing with my primer loader for my 650. Whenever I stop to load some primer tubes, I hold the vibrator part against the powder hopper for a bit and it does wonders especially, with the "problem" powders like unique.I bought an inexpensive fish tank aerator pump, attached it to the powder hopper with rubber bands. The vibration
is magical evening out the charge weights. I was very pleased that the powder charges did not vary. Give it a try.

If you wet tumble you should. The stainless pins will clean the primer pockets. You don't need to decap before you tumble your cases or size them.

You can always pop them off.

You should ask for the $80 back since they didn't send it overnight.Got the slide back yesterday. They sent it Priority Mail (2 day). I spent $80 to overnight it, and it cost STI $8 w/ins to send it back. Oh well, its done, and they replaced the front sight for some reason. Now I have to go sight it in today.

Or buy the 650 now and add the case feeder next payday.I don't doubt it which is why I bought it.
I just can't justify running right now for the amount I reload but you can surely buy it without the case feeder which then at that point, I guess you should just get the 550.

Get some powdered graphite and run it through the powder measure. This will get rid of static and lubricate it. It won't hurt anything.

I wouldn't worry about it. If it breaks you can send it to Dillon and they'll fix/update it for free.
