I have TTI base pads on all 3 of my Carry Optics pistols. M&P CORE, Glock 34 MOS, and now Sig P320. The Sig mags are much much much harder to get 23 rounds in the magazine. The M&P is by far the easiest, with 23 rounds in the magazine, you can still compress the rounds another ~2mm, super easy to load. The Glock is still way easier than the Sig, once there are 23 rounds in the magazine, you can just barely compress the rounds by maybe 1mm. With the Sig magazines, I had to press harder than ever to get the 23rd round in. I can get it to load in the P320 on a closed slide, surprisingly with ease, but I have not had a chance to see how well the gun functions with these mags loaded to 23 rounds. Forgot to add these are 21 round magazine tubes with +1 TTI basepads.
Currently, I have 3 P320 mags loaded to 23 rounds just sitting in the safe, I hope this will help.
Are your 320 mags Italian or USA ?

The P210s I have looked at all had really tight tolerance between slide and free. Really great guns.

I have 4 Sig 320 21 round mags that I got with my 320 X5 Max gun that are made in Italy. What are the differences between these and the mags made in the USA ?

Anyone done a side by side comparison of the Sig Romeo3 Max and the Romeo3 XL which looks like it has a bigger window ? To be used on an open gun ?

My DVC open gun comp cracked last year (like everyone else's) and I sent it back to STI (Stacatto)and they built me a complete new gun no charge. Took a while but that is what I would look into 1st.

What are you guys using for a sizing die for 38SC ? I'm using a Redding 38 Super Auto titanium carbide die and it seems to not be sizing all the way down the case. Slight bulge at the bottom of the case.
Thanks in advance.

I had a DVC in 38 super and had extraction issues from day one. Tried an Aftec and it got better by playing with the springs and tension, but never solved completely. Went to a Brazos tuned extractor and set the tension pretty tight and it was much better. Never solved it completely.
What is it actually doing? Reason I ask is when I had the original full size C-More & factory mount a lot of the times it was extracting OK but hitting the bottom of the mount and stove piping. Could tell by all the marks on the bottom of the mount. Eventually got a crack in the comp & STI took very good care of me on the warrantee work and I had them replace the 38 super slide with a 9mm major. I then replaced the mount with a smaller Everglades mount & an RTS2 dot. Solved it then. They put a stock STI extractor back in it with the new slide and returned the Brazos.
I used HS6, 124 PD JHPs, with around 7.7grs.

I have the same problem with casings hitting the bottom of the full C-More mount although I haven't had any stovepipe problems.

Likelihood of power factor or load being the problem is close to zero. Have you checked the extractor tension? Was either extractor fit properly? More than likely the stock extractor wasn't done right. And the AFTEC isn't a drop in part. There are many threads on the forum that explain how to do it.
Yeah I have read most of the threads and some of the videos including the one on the STI site. Played around with the stock and the Aftec ones quite a bit also.

I've had some extraction problems with my STI DVC open gun for a while. I played around with the stock extractor and also installed a Aftec extractor and followed all the instructions but still have some intermittent extraction issues. So I am wonder if ammot power factor or powder burn rate can have any effect on this. Any ideas ?
I'm shooting a DVC open gun chambered in 38SC using Starline brass, Montana Gold 124g JHP and 7.5g Winchester Autocomp powder for a power factor of approx. 176.
Would this high of a power factor cause extraction problems ?
Is the burn rate of WAC too fast ? Should I try a slower burn rate powder like maybe VV3n38 ?
Thanks in advance for your help

Which red dot sight has the largest window ? Just bought an open gun with the Cmore slide ride and it has a waaaaaay bigger window which makes things much easier than using my other poor mans open gun with a Trijicon RMR mounted on the slide. Would like to replace the RMR with a sight with the biggest window to mount on the slide but don't want to mount a Cmore slide ride on a mount it. Your help would be appreciated

Just tried the One Shot. Big difference. So how are you guys applying the One Shot. Direct spray ? In a bag ? How ?

US average is 1.2 I work on an indoor range 6 days a week and shoot 6 days a week and reload twice a week. My last BLL was 20 so I am now wearing a respirator for range cleanup and washing my hands many many more times a day.

Am loading 9mm and 38SC and using carbide dies. Haven't had any problems with my Dillon 650 but should I be using case lube for sizing ?
Thanks in advance
