  1. Have a Cabela's made by Berry's. Ha.s 3 yr on motor and lifetime on the bowl/lid. Lid became cracked from over tightening the wing nut and was replaced under warranty. Use walnut from Harbor Freight and Corn cob from Zoro.com. Had unit two yrs and lots of use.

Also recently got the Frankford Arsenal wet tumbler, difference is nite and day!

  2. Take a look at Lucky13 zombie green coated bullets(lucky13bullets.com). The 147gr RN is $40/500 and enter code NCGO for 10% off, they ship free. If shipped out of state I presume no sale tax so your total is $72 per 1000 coated 147gr RN delivered to your door. I have shot thousands of their bullets, good product and good folks to deal with. Usually ship very quickly. Hard to beat that price.

+1 on Lucky 13, have also had excellent service from them, very quick shipping, free shipping and 10% discount if you belong to the listed forum another one in NC. No boxes, they come in very heavy weight bags, last order of 2500 bullets broke up the USPS box, but, no problem with the bags of bullets. Must have been the 230 g ones that were in the order...... Best price I have found for lead or coated lead bullets.

  3. Been loading on a loadmaster for the last year or so, Required constant adjustment to keep it running, cracked the lower base from the primer arm. Wondered why it came with a bunch of spare parts when I bought it used.......Also swithched to the LNL AP last Christmas when Palmetto had them on sale for 325 to my door plus the bullets. Still getting the shell plates to get it running for the 6-7 calibers I load for. Very smooth press.

    Good luck with your LNL!

  4. couple of dumb questions for u.

I got mine the other day. seems to work well and I didn't have to clean up too much flashing. I assumed though, mistakenly that I could fill my spare hornady tubes off of the vibra prime tube, but doing this turns the primers upside down. So in order to keep the correct orientation I need to go direct from the vibraprime into the press tube. Or am I overlooking something?

I would like to get a setup down to where I could store 5-10 extra tubes full of primers ready to resupply the press quickly so I could pound out rounds fast in a reloading session. What would you recommend doing in that case? I tried taking the vibraprime tube out of the black plastic piece that plugs into the blue unit. But that sucker is in there tight. I'm not sure how much force the OP used to get his tube out? I'm wondering if going to the hardware store and just buying some correct size aluminum tubing, cutting to length and drilling a hole for the cotter pin, and capping the top with something for storage would be a good way out???

I'm not sure why your primers are flipping, I do know you are technically supposed to fill the VP tube then in to your press, but I don't do it that way.

I have 15 tubes now.... 3 are stock Dillon tubes, the other 12 I did a little research on what the OD/ID of the filler tubes are and then I ordered 2 6ft sections of tube stock and cut my own. I bought Dillion's filler tube tips and use those on the ones I made. I also have a few where I just drilled and put a cotter pin through it like you suggested. Instead of spending hundreds on extra tubes I think it cost me. Grand total of about 30 minutes and roughly $25.

If you want to remove the black plastic lug on the VP tube...pliers and twist. The tube has ears on it that holds it in to the plastic lug.

    Hope that helps!

think the cost you are quoting is just for the tubing, checked the tips for both ends of the tube(58.99), tubing (29.63), so they come to 88.62 for 12 tubes or 7.38 ea, or 8.65 ea for the assembled tubes. Prices are with shipping. So about 1.27 saved per tube.

  5. Yes they are. Picked up some longshot at guns galore here in lakeland too. 35$ a lb almost the same price as at sailent tec. Also had several 1lb of HS-6 in stock. I know it's a bit more then I can find online but there is no shipping hazmat fee so picking up a LB here and there isn't too bad.when I stock up once I settle on a load I will shop around a bit and get 10-15 lbs at a time.

Recobs still has longshot in stock in 4 lbs (79.00). Would only take 2 lbs to make up the HM fee at 35 a lb?

Pm me. If you are in lakeland and need powder

Thanks, but I'm on the Left Coast, at least till the wife retires.

    Thank you 2011redrider!!

I haven't found any Titegroup in over a year, I was down to less than half a pound. whew! that was close.

Unfortunately they'll only let you get 4 lbs per customer.

I'm surprised Recobs shipping is so resonable for powder. Some online sales are like $40 or more.

Have used them and Powder Valley. Both very reasonable on shipping.

Just got 17 Lbs from Powder Valley and shipping was 13 plus the HM fee. Always add on some primers to spread out the HM fee.
