I load Bayou 200s and don't notice a significant difference between them and 180s.  Can use less powder, but get fewer rounds for the price.

I just picked up an open gun too, just to have the option to play with it.  My worry is that my other guns will sit in the safe once I start.

I have a pair.  I use them indoors and outdoors.  They work ok, but I'm still looking for better protection at a similar price point.  I'm considering trying the soundgear instant fit.

for what it's worth, my .40 load for multiple 5" guns is 4.6 of N320 or Win231/HP38 at 1.18 using 180gr Bayou Bullets, or 4.1 with 200gr Bayous.

The gun is brand new. Maybe 1000 rounds through it. It might be a ramp issue. The builder wants me to send in the barrel for tweaking. Great customer service.
