It wouldn't be any different than someone running a Glock MOS with the plate still on.
Any update to this?

I can understand the triangles and the downward pressure, from a structure (a building or a wall) and how that helps strengthen the walls. But what I don't get is how having triangles stippled into your grip helps strengthen your frame. You're not exerting downward pressure. You're using lateral pressure to keep the gun in your grip.
Again, I call bullshit.

Glock Prazision... look them up on instagram. Also, the strengthening is a result of the pattern used... and opposed to random roughing up of the frame... I'll post an example
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYeah, so... Got any proof of that?
I, and I'm sure, many others are calling bullshit on this.

Hi, I like the feed back and great info I am getting here. The barrel had a slight build up of metal and then worked down to make a much tighter lockup. There are a number of match shooters in my area that had this mod done with the gun shooting better than stock. I am going to give my 34 a real good inspection, then try again and see what happens. Again thanks for advice on the two locking blocks not working!!
Could you provide photos of this? I'm having a hard time figuring out where someone would weld up on the barrel? Both my 19 (gen 3 and 4) and my gen 4 34 have a tight lock up. I can't see how/where one could weld and not effect accuracy negatively.

I had to lower the ejection port about 1/8 inch, brass runs out at 3:00 now.
How does lowering the ejection port help with it? I thought that only helped when the red dot was mounted on the frame.

I carry my G17 as a back up for my 34. I haven't needed it yet, but another competitor needed it, so he borrowed it for the match cuz his 17 went down.
I leave the replacement parts at home.

P320 Target
in Sig
So has Sig said anything about compatibility with the target model and the current offerings?
-
It really sounds like Sig is going all out on this thing. I can't wait.
-
That'd be great, and I wonder if they'll be selling the competition grip like they do for the current offerings. Also, I wonder if one could install a comp grip on a full size slide and fcu, that they already own.

The more I hear and see about this thing, the more I want it. Gonna continue saving up for this one.

Assuming that someone didn't notice the crack and continued to shoot, what would/could happen? Slide fall apart or a blow apart of some sort?
-
Bowenbuilt, thanks for the reply. I never thought of that as a possibility of the hitting left issues. I'll certainly keep this in mind.
-
Hey Bowenbuilt, what does the locking block have to do with it?

I also picked up a set last week. I put them on my G34 gen 4. Like rooster said, it is a very tight fit. This is the first FO sight I've ever shot and so far I love it.. I'm way more accurate with it, the stock adjustable sights were horrible for me. I've got about 100 rounds through the gun with them and they do hit a wee bit high, but not enough to bother me. I even got 2 friends to start saving for a set for their glocks. Hopefully next week I'll get a chance to get back into USPSA matches and try them out.

how do you guys even see that x at 25 yards ???? much less 50??? and i wear glasses ... :(
Seriously. This is my exact thought. The front sight covers pretty much the whole target at 50 yards.
-
I've never shot a stage like this so for what it's worth, at the beep I would load and engage targets from there. Then drop mag, reload and grab one more in a tactical flashlight hold and go from there.

I was looking at some L.L. Bean duffle bags... They look pretty decent. I've had some of their back packs when I was younger and they held up well through all the stuff I did from school, camping, road trips etc. I wonder how well they'd hold up on a range...?

You want pictures of the mud or the rain?
Haha either or, as long as there's shooting going on.

Is anyone going to put up pics/vids for those of us who couldn't/can't make it to watch?
