I have had great success with Bayou Bullets in both 9 and .40. Always have my order in a couple days. Danny is a great guy to deal and you know he supports the sport.

3.1 gr of TG under 147 gr Bayous loaded to 1.135 gets me 132 PF out of my SP-01 Shadow. Pretty accurate and clean enough.

I shoot 3 local USPSA matches a month with 3-4 majors sprinkled over the season. I try to live fire practice once a month and dry fire 2-3 times a week but it's getting harder to practice as my girls are getting older

I'm not an open shooter, but quite a few of my buddies are. They swear by the MBX as much as I swear by my mecgars for my cz

The only time I will sort by headstamp is if I'm loading for a major match. I'm pretty sure it makes no noticeable difference, but I'm OCD that way. Loading primarily 9 minor and 40 major, I've never had an ammo malfunction.

Thanks Gregor and Build. Those both look like solid vices for the right kind of price! They are almost identical, but I like the finish on the Woodriver a little better. Where at in Michigan are you, build4u?

Yup, it looks the exact same as mine. Well done, sir

I just put a type 3 in my SP-01 Shadow and I had to take off about .035 before the trigger reset 80% of the time. Then I switched to 600 grit sandpaper until I got 100% reliability. I have a tiny bit of pre-travel as well, but it is just the slack being taken up by the other trigger components.

Thank you!

Not a bad idea at all. I have everything listed exept a place. Time to get a bigger house!

Doelle-my last name (pronounced Dough-Lee)
Thanks to that great 70's pimp movie, this quickly became my high school/life-long nickname.

Before I switched to adding nufinish and mineral spirits, I mixed corn cob and treated walnut. I just threw a dryer sheet in the tumbler to take care of the dust and it worked great! The only reason I switched was because bulk tumbler media is so cheap at Harbor Freight.

Out of my XDm 5.25. 2.85gr TG, 150gr Bayou SWC at 1.09 OAL, 887 ave PFS, 133 PF, 9.4 SD. Silly soft round thats fun to shoot fast!

One of the greatest things about the shooting community is the willingness to help one another. I'm sure there is a fellow shooter at a local match that knows their way around a CZ that could break it down for you. If you shot in Michigan, I'd be more than happy to ??

I like your idea of combining 2 different belts to make one kick a** custom belt. I would personally go with a CR Speed inner and either DAA or Ernie Hill outer. Good Luck!

They are a little thicker than the "thick" CZ aluminum grips.

They are almost identical to CZ rubber grips.I use the Cooper Grips lava rock textured as well. They are awesome but you have to be careful about not over torquing the grip screws.
The texture is the best though and they are cheap ($35) and come in lots of colors.
What do they compare to on the thickness front? New to me as well.

I had a chance to shoot with my SSI Scale grips yesterday and Wow, are they awesome! No movement in my grip whatsoever. And to my surprise, they remain very comfortable. The science behind them is similar to having "mudders" on a truck. The pockets really soak up my hands.

I used to load 135gr Bayous to 1.140 for my G34, and they were very accurate. I loaded a few hundred at 1.150, and they all passed the plunk test, but accuracy fell off a little. I don't think you will have any feeding issues, but Glocks tend to be a little more accurate with a longer COL.

Another Midway owner here. I do agree that some of the smaller things could be a little better made, but for $40 you won't find anything better. The zippers themselves are strong, they stand up to wear, and they are pretty well organized.

I ended up buying a cheap 4" drill press vise to fit my type 3 disco and it got the job done. It will work for now until I come across a great deal on Craigslist or EBay.
Powder for 40sw major, infinity barrel.

I used WSF for quite some time and was very happy with it, except for it being so temp sensative. After not making major at a level 2 match because it was so damn cold, I switched to WST and have been using it ever since. Love WST for .40!
