Do you have the full size Pro model? Do you find the trigger worth the additional cost over the standard PDP?

My local store could not get in the Pro model. I got the full size and am adding the Taylor Freelance magwell and backstrap to it.

  2. The Pro comes with a magwell so you would have to take it off for carry optics. The compact takes 15 round mags and the full size is 18 of course extensions will get you to 23. I have a full size and am putting a magwell on it for limited optics.

Just a guess - Add a magwell, maybe a thumb rest if there's an option slap it in a race holster and you're shooting LO.

I don’t want to shoot production or carry optics. Before I was injured I shot limited then open. I am comfortable shooting in those categories, but I can’t afford a new open gun right now and my vision sucks, so I want to shoot something I am comfortable with.

what do you mean by “universal”?

Are you looking for a holster that is legal across multiple Divisions?  Or one that will work for multiple different guns?

I don’t care about multiple divisions. I want a race style holster that will work for my gun, which not many people make specific holsters for. So something like a Guga Ribas that can be adjusted to fit my gun. Thanks.

  5. I’m getting myself all kitted out to shoot. What is the best “Universal Holster” to go with these days? I am shooting a Walther PDP and will likely end up shooting limited optic’s because I like magwells and my vision isn’t what it used to be. I have a Black Scorpion holster to hold me over, but definitely want something else to run with.

  6. I lived in Wichita Falls for about 7 years before relocating to Fort Worth and then Oklahoma City. It is not that bad. The people are great, and you can still find that small town feel. There are local matches as noted above. Lots to do in a 2hr radius. Honestly I miss WF and wish I had never moved here, but that has nothing to do with the shooting.

  7. It has been years since I have been able to get out and shoot, due to some very bad knees. Now that I have new knees, I’ll be getting a new gun and getting out there on the range. I found my local USPSA matches and am really looking forward to shooting again.

  8. I had a bilateral knee replacement in September and am slowly getting more and more mobile. As soon as I am able to take a knee and get down on the ground and get up again I plan on heading to the local USPSA match. It’s been about 10 years since I have been able to do that because of bad knees, but I am hopeful that in a few months I can get back out there.

I did, but I forgot to mag gauge them. I was told by someone I know and trust who helped develop them that they would gauge no problem. I'll double check this weekend.

    Great thanks!

Does anyone here know if the TTI Versatile base pads will pass mag gauge with the 18 round PDP magazines?

Did you end up getting the TTI base pads? I am interested in them as well and definitely want to know if they come in under 140.
