I've only been shooting USPSA for about 8 or 9 months and switched from a G34 to a Shadow about 3 or 4 months ago. Like Andreas said, the DA is nothing to worry about. Really one good night of dry fire draw DA pull and you won't notice it anymore. The first time I shot a bill drill with the CZ I had a huge smile on my face at the end...the SA is completely worth it.

I do mash the $@!^ out of it. I'll try the light press, thanks!

Having troubles with the magazine sticking in the magwell on reloads. Anyone run into this and found a good fix? I've made sure I'm depressing the button fully, bringing the pistol back vertically. Using MecGar AFC mags, tried the stock just to check. I've checked the mag brake to make sure its clean. Also using VZ diamond backs, sanded them down a bit to try that...going to put the aluminum stockers back on and give that a try.

I calipered my fiber, it's a 1.0mm fiber. Accu-Shadow, didn't request anything different on the fs post when I ordered it.

Yeah, after thinking about it I'm pretty sure it's a 1.5. Waiting until I get home to check it out.

Thanks, I got mine a couple months ago, I'm just sitting here on duty ordering spare parts and wasn't sure on the size. I didn't ask for anything different, assuming it's 1mm.

Is the fiber rod in the Accu front sight 1mm or 1.5mm?

Got mine yesterday, put 400 rounds through it. Worth it to me, made me smile, best shooting/feeling pistol I've ever shot. People say it's the shooter, not the gun, but this gun has shrunk my groups by inches shooting at the same speed compared to my G34. Only problem I have is relearning my new index.

I started with IDPA, tried USPSA, and never looked back. If I do a IDPA match now, it is just to see how many procedurals I can get and still win my class

Hey Sarge, I painted some stock baseplates with some rubber spray paint. Since grip tape is allowed on baseplates, it's still good to go right? I am not completely sure since it's mixing a couple rules and interpretations. I shoot production. Thanks.
