Pikes peak gun club

Buy miculek's action job video first. Forget changing the hammer spring just shorten the strain screw to your liking. Doubtful you can get a quick enough reset with a rebound spring less than 13#'s. Miculek's are 20#'s in his guns - not for a normal human tho.

Will be in Spokane for a couple months or more after the first of the year and looking to shoot a bit while there. Checked the web sites but don't see much. Post Falls or Cor de Alene would work too.

Can't upload a pic as files are too large -
Hogue grips
bead blast blue job
dove tail in fiber optic front sight
chamfer and polish charge holes
recut forcing cone to 18*
action job
This is the most accurate hand gun I've ever owned. Shoot it for IDPA all the time.

From the factory my 686ssr had a .491 pin in it. The strain screw was cross threaded in. The cylinder to barrel gap was .015. The C&S firing pin has worked fine for many thousands of rounds but as they suggest I only dry fire with snap caps.

SnS coated swc and WST - clean, soft and accurate.

I have a 686ssr but much prefer my model 10. Chamfered & polished charge holes, FO front sight, recut forcing cone to 11 degrees and Matt flat blue finish. I would never carry it but then my EDC gun is illegal in IDPA.

Going to be in the area for a while this spring. Is there anywhere to shoot some IDPA?
Spokane - Post Falls - Cour D Alene
Thanks

I can only speak to SNS as it's the only coated bullet I've shot. They shoot great for me and I can't imagine any better service.

Shot some thru the chrono last night. 3.3 grains of WST @ 1.125 oal gave me a 10 shot string from 900 to 910 FPS. So PF around 133. Not quite as accurate as the 135’s in my Springfield RO but close.
