[Indoor shooting range]

I built a backstop from 1/4" steel plate and supporting 2" x 4" boards - put sand

in a box below the backstop to catch the bullets.

Very handy for .22's, and will take some CF's - you might use 3/8" steel if

you want to get heavier.

Lots of sound suppression is nice - I put stacked newspapers on top of the

steel to keep it little quieter.

Need lots of lighting, too, of course.

Sounds like ventilation is going to be a problem for you, though.

I have shot at a indoor range pretty much as stated above. It is in the basement of the club house at a local range. I have shot at many indoor ranges and this one was by far the loudest, I had to wear two sets of ear plugs (one inside the ear and the other outside ). One of the major concerns was someone shooting through the ceiling ( it wasn't bullet proof ).

Has anyone tried the Dawson front fiber optic sight yet? I'm not sure which Dawson Front sight would fit my stock rear sight on the T.S.

Any help/advice would be great.

Not sure where to put this question but have any of you ordered from CZ Pro Shop in Europe? I'm tired of waiting for the CZ U.S Pro Shop to get parts in.It looks like they ship to the U.S. for around 50 bucks. Just wondering if it is worth messing around with or just wait and keep checking to see if the U.S Pro Shop has finally gotten restocked. Thanks>

Vermont! Not a ton of people here. We have the most gun friendly state in the union (no joke). Local matches year round for USPSA. Summer and fall matches for IDPA and Three Gun. It is easy to make it to other matches in New England.

Try grabbing a broom or mop with one hand at the end of the handle (thumb up) and lift the broom up off the floor. Work in sets of this for wrist strength. Try to use only your wrist not your arm.
