  1. So four years ago I got out of shooting when my first son was born now that they are getting older I’ve gotten back into things and wanting to build or buy a PCC, anything I should stay away from? A few years ago I remember something were finicky and didn’t work well with others, from the research I’ve been doing I’m either going to buy a JP or build with a JP 10.5 barrel, JPbolt and JP  short stroke system, Brekke hand guard and comp, I don’t know what lower and upper I should use. Is there anything anyone could recommend to help would be awesome better setups alternative set ups, intend on staying in blowback not wanting to drop 3k on a jp 5 as nice as they are about 2k is my limit give or take a few

  2. I've always ran a ZEV looks quiet long but I've never hit it accidentally, big button too and sticks out there pretty good, i like it especially since i still cant hit the release with out breaking my grip but its long enough for me to hit it with my middle finger of my firing hand....yea i got short thumbs i suppose haha

  3. just keep extra springs for the striker and the other trigger springs, also an extra guide rod and spring and extra striker and extractor, also if you use fiber optic front sight carry plenty of extra fiber a way to cut it and a lighter to heat up "bulb" the ends to make it stay in the front sight.

  4. I've loaded some with 3.8gr of titegroups and havent noticed any pressure signs yet. Ive testested for setback but not in the way you mentioned. i mic'ed them then loaded them to mags then chambered them my pulling the slide all the way back and releasing it and didnt notice any setback when i remic'ed them. I could be going about it all the wrong way though. I've never loaded much 40 just always 9mm.

Any load details on a 180 BBI I'm not married to the 200's but i do like the less preceived recoil of the 200s

  5. I just switched to limited major recently and havent been able to get a hold of a chrono yet.

I'm shooting a Glock 35 with a factory barrel and 200gr BBI at 1.135 (varys a little but not much)

They only powders I got on hand is TiteGroup and W231 and HP38

My question is what are loads that ppl are using for this combo, I've did a lot of searching but havent really found what I'm looking for, also what other good powders are there out there for this. Apprecite it guys

  6. Now I never thought if that, I know they make some stuff called quick draw for holsters to make the gun come out easier, that might work well also, juat be afraid I'd get it on my hands a little though

  7. I got 4 new 22/35 mags on a trade Glock brand, I noticed that they don't have the metal showing on the mag catch side, still metal lined like all glock mags but not where the catch is. In the factory config they drop fine, throw some basepads on them I notice they are a lot more snug fit that the other gen4 mags I have and won't drop free when fully loaded (not that we ever really do that in a match) they seem to work fine after a round is out of them and the slide is closed. Any information on why they would change a great thing they had or is that just the Glock way to take something perfectly fine and dick with it for NO reason. Shouldn't be an issue come match or practice time but it's kind of aggravating

  8. I just made my 34 to a 35. Lone wolf slide, found a factory 35 barrel in the classifieds, got a trigger housing with 40 ejector, a 40 extractor with the little plastic bearing thing (forget the true name of it) to go on the end of the plunger got those from lone wolf as well amd found some guys who had extra 40 mags and swapped the my extra 9mm mags, got another guide rod and 15lbs spring from lone wolf and a used frame weight off Facebook.

I'm getting my slide Cerakoted and prolly re-use my sights off my 34 slide since I won't be using it anymore all that for right around $350

  9. If you decide to go with a frame weight but don't want a race holster my kydex guy has my gun innthe shop now making up a few holsters for guys www.redeyetacticalgear.com

I can tell a difference with a frame weight seeing how I'm coming from only shooting 9mm to bumping up to major pf

  10. So I have a hard time finding federal small pistol primers, so I decided I'd try out some Federal small rifle primers instead to try out, I'm shooting it out of a Glock 35. My question is should I change the load any or leave it the same, anything to watch out for?

  11. I went through the same stuff a month ago with 3gun. I was helping run matches, set them up, run a squad all the time of honestly piss poor re-setters (besides two or three) and I got sick of it. Now I'm soley focusing on USPSA which to me has always been more fun to me and simple honeslty. There's a lot less gear to wag around a lot less re-set and in my area the shooters help more re-set at USPSA matches. Plus me not having to help match direct it helps a lot. I got a lot of repect for those guys its a lot of work. I almsot sold my 3 gun gear but decided to keep it in case i wanted to get back in it.

  12. I had the problem where when I ressembled the slide again my "firing pin block" spring didnt lock in and fell down in the hole sideways. Bam mag dumps all day dangerous but a little fun

  13. Seekins makes a flat bottom hand guard, i used one for a while, honestly its a little heavy and not as easy to grip like you would a small diameter rail but it makes one hell of a surface to shoot off of. I use a Seekins adj gas block as well, never had any issues with it or readjusting with between two different barrels and two rifles, and the barrel i use now is a stretch16, it a super soft set up

  14. How light of a striker spring are you guys able to run with cci primers

I ran a zev 2lbs for a year with a lightned striker from ZEV. Id get one about every match or two, until the last one where i had one or two a stage, swithced back to a Taran striker spring which i have never had problems setting off a primer with
