So I have been listening to Practical Pistol, That Shooting Show, Triangle Tactical, and Shannon Smith.  What other ones are out there that people like.  Looking at ones that cover USPSA.

Check out this line up for USPSA so far on the Firearms Nation podcast: Keith Garcia, Bruce Gray, Jessie Duff, Bennie Cooley, Mike Foley, Matt Hopkins, Bob Vogel..

  2. Sebring has most of the food chains: Ruby's, Chilis, Outback, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Five Guys, etc. Lake Wales is also coming into it's own with some of the major chains. Sebring has the Starbucks...

As far as local fare, there are some gems in Sebring and Frostproof. In Frostproof you've got Roscoes which has good soup and sandwiches and the Orange Grove diner is good.

  3. That link has a picture of my gun before adding my Dawson front.

I used a Heinie rear cut for the P226. It fits well and doesn't overhang the back like the Warrens do.

Beware, it seems like there is some variance in the depth of the front sight cut on the P320s. After I installed the Heinie front and rear I tool it out to the range and put it on paper at various distances. Dawson has a calculation on his front sight page that tells you how to figure out your ideal front sight height. For my pistol and 147 gr 128 PF load ended up ordering a .250 tall Dawson front but your mileage may vary.

Bruce Gray has worked to develop an alternative rear sight that looks really good as well and can be seen on his Facebook page. I am hoping that will be for sale through GGI soon.

One final alternative, it looks like Max Michel had his P320 slide cut for an adjustable rear sight manufactured for a Springfield XD. Again, pictures on his Facebook.

I like the look and feel of this over grip tape. Nice work Alma..

  5. Was able to get (with help of a friend) a new Stock II. Switching over from a Glock 34, what do you guys recommend is the next step in making it a comp gun? I've ordered both the Blade Tech and Ghost holsters and picked up some new mags.

  6. Boston, something else you might want to consider is getting into a competition shooting class (if you haven't taken one). A quality instructor can break down your technique, show you drills and be a coach. A lot of top guys are putting on classes. I'm not kidding when I say it can take years off of your training.

Roger that on the G22. I'm a big fan of the Glocks (they just work) but a heavy metal gun is also verrry nice.
