I have 3 2.5's and have zero issues... Go for it

8.4gn 3n37 38sc 124jhp montana's @ 1.235 oal. I shoot this out of 2 dvc open guns. I switched from 3n38... 38 is too much gas for a gun with no popples.

Ive run over 5 k eack of 9 and 38 on 2 different 650's with it and still perfect... No problems and original washers

Thanks for the input guys

I need someone to pin and weld or silver solder my mbx comp on to my 14.5 barrel.... I've searched and read about the brownells paste. I'm not doing it myself... Also lots of people don't weld aluminum... Anyone have suggestions on who would do this work for me? Adco already turned down the work, they don't weld aluminum

I ran one 9/38 140 all last season with the grams guts... No issues what so ever... I've since switched all my mags to grams guts... So far so good

Anybody having issues with the MBX 18 round 45 ACP magazines. I really have to slam them into the gun to lock in place. Sometimes I need to slam it in 2-3 times to seat the magazine. I believe they are 141.25 mm in length. Help if you can.
Thanks
Mike
Are the mags full to capacity?

No popper holes. Any particular reason why you chose 37 over 38?
I shot 5lbs of 38 off the bat and liked it. A friend suggested that it's too slow and 37 would be a better load with no holes. I bought a lb and made some loads. I knew it after the first mag. Sold the 38 and loaded up on 37. I've since made a steel load for minor with my steel master. Used 37 and same 124. Gun runs super flat at 136pf

Just wondering ... would a shok buff help prevent a slide from cracking ??
Fwiw I installed one and my slide cracked that day. No more buffs for me. We've had several sti dvc's crack. Full replacement by sti warranty. They sent me a whole new gun.

Does the trubore have popple holes? If not you may want to load 3n37... I run 8.3 in my dvc's with 124jhp pd's. 1.250oal

I have 2 of the same guns.... STI DVC 38sc open guns... They're both setup the same... I recently moved from a cmore to a deltapoint pro and I'm just waiting on my second DP to come in so they'll be identical... My OCD goes crazy so i also had to switch my steel master to a Deltapoint as well... All 3 are setup basically the same

Go with a micro dot and eliminate the sideways mount all together

I have used a soldering iron. Just hold the tip on the bolt head for a few minutes. Works great and no flames.
This is what I just did on 3 different mounts... worked great even on red
Does anyone use variable springs?
