[Dan Wesson DWX: The Mother Thread]

I ordered one in 40 from the local CZ dealer. He said they were told the guns would ship sometime in February or March. I have high expectations for this gun and hope to run it in Limited once I get used to it.

I can relate! The mag cap was cross-threaded and stripped on my brand new VM Tactical. Orders many weeks ago from Remington...still no part, or updates. They won't even guess when they will have one in to ship out. I paid for a replacement from Nordic. Now they have great customer service! However, I have lost a lot of respect for Remington.

No, it's the coupler that joins the magazine tube together. Sorry Ryan, Just saw the link you posted. looks like this could work. I'll give them a call today. Thanks for the help!

[Versa Max Tactical Mag Tube Coupler]

I have a new Versa Max Tactical. It appears as if someone cross threaded the coupler that connects the mag tube. I had to use channel locks and a rubber pad to break it lose. I called Remington, but the coupler is on back order and the guys said no idea when they would get one in, due to the "VM being new".

Any ideas where I can purchase a coupler that would work? Do any other aftermarket companies make a coupler that will work? Thanks!
