I use fine grade walnut hull from Harbor Freight which does not stick in flash holes.
I've always been curious, can't see how a piece of walnut hull or corncob in a flash hole would have any effect. Anyone have any incidents of that happening that adversely affected a round firing ????

I have a 16" wilson combat barrel on my blackout. I use it mostly for hog hunting...so far, all the hogs that I shot are DRT not the case with my 556. All shots are taken at 100 yrds or less.

I had the same question a few months ago... I decided, if I am getting a "custom gun" I would like to get the best and design everything myself. That's just me though.
