  1. My .38 Super Gold Custom. Double AA 3-in-1 Mount, Grey CMore SlideRide, Henning Mags. Otherwise Bone Stock. These pics were taken before it's first range trip. It's a bit dirtier now...

Here it is in it's Safariland 014 Holster on ELS belt. The Holster is awesome!

Depends how much you shoot. I'd the same mount before and it cracked on me twice as the blast shield is directly above the barrel port holes. All the hot gas and debris will hit directly to the shield each time it fired. You need a mount that brings the blast shield away from those port holes. =)

  2. If there are enough people that want to do something take him to small claims court. Hire a collectuion attorney in the town where he lives and have him file one charhge after another. Collection attorneys usually charge a reasonably low fee plus a percentage of funds collected. Another thing to do is file fraud charges against him in criminal court.. He can't ignore that.

Don't waste your time anymore. He has the same pattern from 4 years ago and still doing the same thing today!!!

Best way is to stop buying from him and go to a more realiable companies. Just move on.....

For those who didn't get their money back, again, go to this link as I'd suggested http://www.oag.ok.go.../complaint.html and file your complaint.

  3. I want to thank all of you for your help and suggestions. With a little help from another member I was finally able to contact him and I received my items last week.

You are lucky because you'd started a post here and many people respond. Otherwise, you probably will never get your items like others. He did the same trick every single time. Whoever starting a post and complaint, he'll send the item right away to shut them up. For those who didn't complaint, the cheque/visa remain cashed, item never arrived.

I will not say further. Just be aware next time when you choose to buy a custom made gears; find the one with good track record and reasonable speed. They are not much difference in terms of quality.

  4. the oklahoma attorney general doesn't have a consumer protection unit anymore that I am aware of.

I will look through some oklahoma statues to see if there is anything that this fits in and try to get back with you.

maybe mail fraud, may be obtaining money by false pretence. Ill have to look to see if anything fits.

I think they still have that unit, dbagwell you may want to try this link:

  5. I sent him a check for a holster and magazine pouches a couple of years ago... He cashed the check and then became unreachable... He NEVER answers his phone...

He is one of the few people in this game to outright cheat me on purpose.

I had almost forgotten about it... I still have the cancelled chack somewhere...

I'm suprised after all these years people still buy from him and got burned.... :surprise:

  6. I contacted Dave at KyTac back in early September and placed and order for a holster and mag pouches. I mailed my check and it was cashed. I have ordered from him in the past and I'm aware of the long lead times. After about two months I decided to send him an e-mail to check on the status of my order, and...no reply. Since then I have sent about a half dozen e-mails and have tried to call his number numerous times with the same result...no replies and no answer. At this point I'm just trying to determine if the guy's still alive! It's going on five months now, so I'm wondering if I'll ever get my items or if I've just kissed $200 goodbye. Any information from the members here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Send an e-mail to KyTac requesting your money returned at the same speed that it was cashed, failing that an email to the BBB in Emond, OK cc'ing KyTac too.

I am one of the victim back a while ago when I dealt with KyTac. I'd complaint to BBB and it is working for the first time....then he doesn't care anymore.

I keep writing posts to different forums and still not getting my items. He will just cash your cheque or credit card and then never pick up your calls.

dbagwell, if you still want your money back, don't waste your time in BBB. I'd went all the way to Office of Attorney General - State of Oklahoma

and filed a complaint[it's free] (See attached). Although they cannot do anything at that time, but the letter clearly indicated if additional

complaints against the same entity, they will be able to do something.

This guy hates me because whenever people having issues with Kytac, I'll jump in and tell my experience. And if you are lucky enough,

he will send you your order right away to prove that I'm wrong. I hope my post here can help you a little.

  7. Anyone try the tanfoglio version?

I'd 3 different inserts. One for STI, one for CZ Shadow and one for Tanfoglio Square Trigger Guard. I'd them for over 1 year.

Just a note to Tanfoglio user. The insert block will not work for any Large Frame Tanfoglio. eg. Eric Gold, Limited Custom...

I have a small frame Tanfoglio it works perfectly. Bought a large frame lately and the gun will wiggle on the insert block and sometimes cannot even pull out the gun in first attempt. As the dimension of the square trigger guard for the small frame is different from the large frame.

3 of my friends also have large frame Tanfoglio and I'd tried to put all their guns to my holster and results are the same.

I assumed when DAA makes the molding of the insert block based on the small frame gun only.

Until they come up with an insert block for large frame Tanfoglio, I'm forced to purchase a CRSpeed for now

  9. While I was attending the 2013 Florida Open I seen that they had an opportunity to try out the Universal Shooting Academy race holster. It seemed to fit the trigger guard much better than most other race holsters without needing a bunch of custom fitting. I purchased one and since I had some down time in the hotel after shooting the match I set it up and did a bunch of dry fire practice with it. This holster is MEGA adjustable which is awesome. If you can't adjust this thing to whatever gun angle you need you are doing something wrong. The retention of the pistol is really solid and secure as well. There are two roller magnets that hold the underside of the frame to the holster, I ended up taking off the one closest to the trigger guard to further free up the draw resistance. I probably did 200+ dry fire draws with this holster that day playing around with the different angles and settings. I was able to get it to jam up during the draw stroke if I pulled the grip away from my hip during the draw or did a draw from an extremely crouched stance. These same type of drawing "Jams" happen with pretty much any race holster I have tested with the EAA/Tanfo pistols but this holster didn't do it as bad as others. I did a bunch of back to back drawing testing between the Universal Shooting Academy race holster and my standard Blade Tech and could produce the same draw to first shot times with both. So once again, I am not seeing a time advantage, only a sloppy grip advantage with using the race holster.

The one major detractor I experienced while using the Universal Shooting Academy race holster is that its not very comfortable to wear. The weight of the gun digs into your leg/hip at a single point which gets uncomfortable pretty quick. During my day of dry fire with the holster I was able to create a bruise on my leg/hip were the holster rested and pushed in with all of the gun weight. I can wear the blade tech holster all day and have zero pain or discomfort from wearing it. That can't be said for this race holster. I will probably use this race holster when I shoot steel challenge, but I am going to stick with my Blade Tech for USPSA matches.

Mind to show a pic how it looks like? =]

  10. Ok I know that its a little expensive for the Pal Filler and some people out there said ... why not spend the extra money and go with the dillon RF100,

NOW correct me if I'm wrong, with the Dillon you need to buy two machines one for large primes and one for small primers so $628.00..(if I'm wrong tell me what it will cost to have large and small primers on the RF100)

the pal filler is made from machined aluminum solid will last for years with a

base that does large and small primers..

The RF100 for large or small is $314 or so. There is a conversion kit for about $90-$100 so the total to load small and large on the RF100 is ~$400 +/-.

I had been waiting for the Vibra Prime so I could get one and I like the features as described and that's what I wanted. But they sold out so quick and with another 10-12 week wait I said screw it and just orderd a Palfiller. Sure its 3x+ over the cost of the Vibra Prime w/ shipping but its 1/2 the cost of the RF100 if you want to load small and large primers (which I do). I'd have rather spent the $60 or so on the Vibra Prime it was hard enough waitig the first time.

The RF 100 is $315 and the conversion kit for the OTHER primer size is $48. You get one kit with the machine.

All you do is dump in a tray of primers, tap the "on" button, and it loads the tube BY ITSELF in 2 minutes and then shuts off. All you touch is the primer tray, the button to turn it on, and the filled tube of primers. Don't have to fuss with bunches of primer tubes, modifying anything to use that bunch of tubes, don't hafta balance 3 things in your hands to fill a tube or anything like that. While it is loading its tube you can turn your back on it and be doing other stuff, loading, whatever.

I tried the VP, it not much different than pecking at a primer tray with a tube by hand. Would not do it any other way than with the RF.

    JMHO

    jj

2 minutes?!? My Palfiller only needs less than 10 seconds to fill a tube...

I rather buy something that will work right out of the box, doesn't need to be tested and adjusted and modified to make it work.

And I heard twice from the posts mentioned that they need to hold the tube by hand under the VP  , are you kidding?

Things happen too. For those who own the VP, be prepare to find a cracked or broken VP if you accidentally dropped it to the ground. C

uz it's just made by crappy plastic IMO. My PF on the other hand is 10x more sturdy than the VP.

    Just my 2 cents. :surprise:

    Hahahaha...!

    Funny...

How long does it take you to dump the primers into the Pal AND flip the primers AND put the little cover on AND THEN pull the trigger for 10 seconds to get the primers into the tube?

All you do with a RF, dump the primers, touch the switch. Maybe 5-6 seconds is all the time needed for the operator per tube of primers. Then turn around and go back to loading. While you are doing other stuff, the RF flips the primers and loads them into the tube.

AND with the Pal you probably will want to buy 10 tubes so you can do a primer loading session with 1k box of primers, hummm, that's another $50 or so for each primer size. So now you have spent only about $50 less than a RF set up for both primer sizes, and you have to make a point of having a session of loading tubes every time you want to load, vs having a RF loading them FOR YOU as you need them.

    hummm...yea makes sense to me...

    jj

You may need to first deal with the clogging problems and the upside down primers problems :surprise:

Spending over $300 and I still need to fine tune/fix the issue...come on :goof:

  11. One thing should be noted. The DAA Racemaster will not fit any large frame Tanfoglio. I have both small & large frame. The small frame fits so well but large frame wiggle when the gun is in the holster. The gun even stuck when I draw. Asked Saul and he said nothing he can do.

I guess when he design the insert for Tanfoglio, he only use small frame for molding.

I'd forced to purchase the CRSpeed WSS II with not much choice.

I ran a CR Speed for a few months. The modification isnt hard to do either. Just takes a little time and patience. I tried my friends safariland, and I liked the CR speed better.

I am using a DAA racemaster now, and that is my favorite holster I have ever used. It is the most secure when locked and unlocked. That would be my top choice. I also hear DAA came out with a "budget" version of the racemaster. I think it is the same design, but more plastic and less metal.

    Good luck picking a holster!

  14. I'm sorry but I have nothing to do with this distrubtor nor I'm acting on his behalf. I think the best way is for you to go to his website and contact him directly.

That is only my personal review of the item. Hope this help.

I had the same experience it simply doesn't work. Then I'd the opposite experience after finding the better quality one from ebay called "PALFILLER".

I'm living in Canada so I bought one at ebay and found that they are actually located in here. I'm so happy that I personally put a review to my blog with videos. They even ask my permission to use my photos... :goof:

The price is higher than the blue junk but it worth every penny IMHO. Here's my personal blog, hope it helps:

I had written a long post with my frustrations. Decided to keep it short and sweet. This thing is pure junk. Returning mine and buying some extra pickup tubes.

Do you offer discounts on purchases of more than one?

  16. I bought my primer loading little gadget at ebay and search for PALFILLER the quality is 5 times better than the blue one.

I had the blue one long ago and it's very fragile and breaks after 6 months or so and they are discontinued from the manufacture.

These may be the left over and I doubt they will have a lot more.

I'm glad I bought the better one from Canada.
