Do the 155s really load as quick as 140s though?
We have a few gm's that shoot at our club and it's a mix. Kincade Ross tried the 155's and didn't like them but he has thousands of hours of practice with the 140's
I'm a B class nobody but for me I like to start 170 and reload to 155 for the 30,31,32 round stages
I get a better seat with the 155's. -
You should try the 155's before you buy the 140's. I like the 155's but have larger hands

We don't shoot 10 rounds in open in California
In July we might but right now you will find nobody -
Don't you remember the famous shooter who got dinged for holding a towel in his hands at IPSC Nationals or somewhere similar. It was all over these forums with pics etc. IPSC don't allow nothing in the hands:8.7.2 Competitors are prohibited from using any sighting aid (e.g. the whole or part of an imitation or replica firearm, any part of a real firearm including any accessories thereof etc.), except for their own hands, while conducting their inspection ("walkthrough") of a course of fire. Violations will incur one procedural penalty per occurrence (also see Rule 10.5.1).

When I was researching open guns to buy I heard the turn around time at Sti was around 4 months for repair
Not sure if this is still the case though

Hello: A racker is not needed until you actually try one and then you can't live without it on an open pistol. An unloaded start is much more comfortable to rack the slide with the racker installed. Thanks, Eric
This statement above goes with about everything in our hobby and life for that matter.

I run it on a separate bench and never have a flipped primer

I had the same problem with a gun I bought used I fixed it with 9 pound recoil spring,
bump the powder a bit
And tune the extractor using a Dremel. Take a little off and then fit it. The brass should fit snug but not tight
My gun throws the brass 3 to 4 feet now using bunny fart 132pf ammo

I didn't read this entire thread but just wanted to make a quick point..
There are some amazing GM level shooters that shoot with tape over one of their eyes and do just fine.
Brian Enos and Matt Hopkins are just 2 shooters that do it. Shooting with two eyes open is preferred but for some of us our eyes are just different.. I personally am Left eye dominant and when I present the gun I see 2 fiber optic front sights
I have scotch tape over my left eye (my dominate eye) and shoot with my right eye.. Its only a small piece of tape and I blocks maybe 5% of my vision

I am really enjoying this Thread.. Thanks everyone for posting
