Order Mags for a G22, gives you 15 rounds. If you want more than that, you can get +1 or + 5 Base plates. I use the TTI +5 in my Glock 35 to hold 20 rounds. I carry a 23 with a standard mag, and keep an extra 15 round mag for backup.

Stick with Limited. If you really want to move to open, talk to some of the Open shooters and see if someone has a Racegun they want to sell, a good STI would be a better choice for Open.
That being said, I have had very good success with my 35 in Limited Division, and as far as capacity goes, not sure you need more than 100 rounds in any string. ;-) My Mags hold 20 each.

Carry or Competition?
I had mine done by TTI
They can do a Competition grip for $175. I sent my 35 to them and had the RTS package. I was very pleased with the work they did.

The G35 makes an excellent Limited gun,
I sent mine to Taran Tactical for the RTG package. Made a huge difference in handling.
I also use TTI Base pads, no magwell, I have a Seattle Slug instead.
Good Luck!
Here is an older post I made:

I switched to a KKM barrel when I started using reloads,
I sent my gun to Taran Tactical and had them do the sights, trigger, guide rod and Grip work, really liked the way it turned out, and feels and works great.

KKM, use that in my 35

Use the standard 15 round mag, plus a +5 extension that is about as long as you can get with a Clock 35.

With a front FO sight, and some additional work from TTI, my Glock 35 is extremely accurate. With practice I can consistently put snake eyes at 20yards.
The gun is not my limiting factor, mine is discipline, trigger control, breathing, and practice.
I would suggest you find someone local to you that has a 35 and take it for a spin, I think you will be pleased.

How r u liking ur TTI Glock? Ive been thinking about sending Taran my G34 for this RTG package. And how are u liking his large base pads?
Actually, could not be more pleased. The gun performs very well. My accuracy has improved, and the point of impact is spot on the point of aim. Taran's shop did great work, and a pretty quick turn around.
The base pads are also working well, after a few months they seem to be very durable. They are also very easy to remove and replace for cleaning.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Oh, and I think the grip job is one of the nicest I have seen.
-
TTI - Easy on/off and so far seem to be durable.
-
Have them on my Glock 35. Love them. My point of impact is spot on my point of aim. Has help me improve my accuracy.

There were a bunch of Juniors at Area 1, some of them started when they were 11 or 12. The girl on the far left, Mikayla Blosser, started at 13, she now (16) shoots Open, and gave the guys a run for the money.
-
Congrats on getting that far.
Don't worry about overspending on a belt/holster. I got a used CR Speed Belt and an Uncle Mikes Holster for my 35, total was $70 and works great.
The key is to practice as much as you can especially on multiple targets.
I use TTI +5 base pads
Good luck.

Here are 5 stage winning runs by Bob Krogh, Production HOA.
How do you master the one leg off balance shot? ;-) Them are some quick splits.

Thanks for posting the Video Eddie, and nice talking with you after the last day.

I have the same slide racker, I put a couple drops of locktite to keep it from flying out. Used if for three days straight with no problems.

Got back last night. What a great 3 days of shooting.
Hats off to Ken and his crew, plus all the other people that helped put on a really good event. Very well run. Good job.
Learned where I need to practice on, like not tossing my first mag change away. And I should probably work on Stage breakdown and management.
Had a great time. Met some good people. Overall a great event.
Thanks

Well, here is a cool little tool:
-
See there is a new version of PS for iOS and in the What's New Section on iTunes it mentions "added a registration download option from clubs.practiscore.com", interesting.
Yes - this is a new feature we've put in for those who pre-register on clubs.practiscore.com. For instance, I just snatched down 450+ shooters for Area 1 with a button click.
It will be part of the beta test for practiscore.com we will release after A1 this week.
I will be consumed with that match this week, so slow responses here. (-:

Bringing my iPad to loan. Should be a good match.

So I see the Range Map bays for a "TBD .22 side match" and another for a "Side Match". Anybody have any info about either?
Thanks
Sure, I have a little info that I got in an email:
Side Matches & Shoot-offs & Steel Out Front
All squads will rotate through 2 side-matches. And you can come back in your off-time and try them multiple times.
The finals of these events will happen during the arbitration period, and we will have bleachers to watch the fun from!
Centerfire 2x4 Blast
Simple. 2 person teams tag team to shoot a 2x4 in half. 1/2 the pot goes to a shoot-off during the arbitration period where 6 teams shoot at once to decide who takes what cash. Give your team a name, be on more than one team, be your OWN team (if you want to run back tag yourself and run forward again). Fun!
Action Target Rimfire Extravaganza
Action Target has a new .22 line of targets. We will provide ammunition & uber accurate/reliable Browning Buckmarks (or bring your own). The top 8 win targets, in their order of preference. Proceeds from this go to our range's improvement fund. And your help is welcome!
Also, given the shortage of .22 ammo in our region, if you can bring a brick, or box of 500 and let us know, we would appreciate it!
Top Gun Shoot-off
Top 2 shooters in recognized division shoot off for $100 cash per division. Then Division shoot-off winners battle for a winner takes all $200 pot. Handicap... the Match Director decides if the Revolver competitor needs a bit of help over the Open gal!
Junior Shoot-off
Every junior in the match competes, solo for time, for a $500 cash prize put up by an anonymous donor. Thanks Ms. Anonymous! Winner takes $250, then $100, $100, and $50
Steel All Day Everyday
We spit in the face of ammo "shortages"...hah! How? We have a pretty big facility, and we always (as in permanently) have 4 stages of action steel, and 2 steel practice bays out front. Over 150 steel targets up at anytime.
So bring some ammo and have fun! Each steel stage is 20 rounds (if you don't miss). $10 lets you play as much as you want for the day. So come early, look at the stages and warm up the "fun way". All of this is within 40 yards of the main match, and right by where you park for the match.
Bring ammo, bring a .22 pistol or carbine, and have a good time!
Training
Click here to sign up for these classes.
Babes with Bullets Camp
A Babes with Bullets Camp Mon/Tue of the Match week. Tune up before the match! Contact me for details. Ladies only, and some USPSA experience is recommended. Cost $400
Free clinic for Vets, Prior Service, and Junior Shooters.
Mike Hughes, Eddie Garcia, and Manny Bragg will instruct. This is Thursday - all day.
We welcome ammo donations in support of this project.
Hunting Shack of Montana has stepped up again with rounds - thanks HSM! That's even more important in these odd times. Help appreciated.
We also had a donation of 2000 rounds from an anonymous donor. Thanks Mr. Anonymous!
So don't let ammo keep you from taking advantage of this awesome instruction!
Note that this class is light - we need more students, and have extended it to Law Enforcement.
Manny Bragg USPSA Course
Manny Bragg will host a course for up to 8 students Mon/Tue FOLLOWING the match. After training you will reshoot the Area 1 match, as the stages are set, only squeezing awesomeness out of it. This class sold out last year and reports I have from attendees were universally excellent. I also had the good fortune to observe their use of the stages after and it's incredibly useful to train on the "real thing". My son and I have both had classes from Manny in the past, and they've been very very helpful. Cost $450

Look up some of my old posts. Love my Glock, and with the mods I had done it fits my hand better and runs well.
