Although I prefer the metal framed CZ's, I was impressed by the stock trigger on the p-07. The single action pull is a tad bit crisper than the rest of the CZ line.

I will say that even though the CGW hammer is illegal in production, it's makes the trigger a tad bit crisper than the CZ UB hammer.
-
They came up at the end of last year. I suggest keeping an eye on the CZ forum as Angus posted about them and I thought long and hard about getting one.
-
I'm guessing these are similar to the Mec-Gar 17 rounders with addition of the hard chroming. Those are my preferred mag of choice as I like the base pad and the extra round. Considering that CZ Custom is selling the regular 17 rounders for the same price it's a steal.
-
I have found with CZ mags that if you slap them in hard enough 80% of the time the slide will close for you without any modification.

The CGW hammer kit will change it completely and I wouldn't even worry about removing the FPB. Schmeky changes the angle of the hammer hooks and removes that camming action right before the trigger breaks removing the creep. There will be a little play but I'd just order CGW short reset package too.

It's IDPA legal but you'll have to watch weight with a SP-01 to make SSP class. If you're serious about IDPA you might want to look into a CZ-75 Shadow Custom as it will make weight easily.

Stock SP-01's will come with rubber grips.

Blade Tech DOH is a solid holster which can be used, with conversion, in IDPA and USPSA.

Thanks, I have been thinking about doing it for a little while. I already have the CGW race hammer installed and it has made the single action extremely crisp. I would like to install the SRS too.

How hard is it to convert a DA/SA 75 to SAO? Is there anything you have to be especially wary of?

Gator098 is right on the money. The TS is a great gun that can only be used in Limited, however, I love the balance of the CZ-75 shadow. It's a smooth gun as well.

Also, if you can find 180 grain Frontier bullets they seem to work really well in my TS with accuracy comparable to Hornady HAPS.
-
Great information! Thanks for that.

I ran a 10# recoil spring for a little bit with a stainless steel guide rod and found that I really wasn't enjoying the way it handled. I switched to a 14# and I find it's easier for me on follow up shots. I'd like to add this is without any cuts on the slide and using extremely light reloaded ammunition.

Mine will drop the hammer at half cock as well, however, I have never experienced hammer follow on the gun. I think it's just the way the trigger is set up. Also, I can engage the safety in half cock as well but it wasn't new to me so maybe had some sear work done on it.
-
I use the Blade-Tech DOH which I find to be quick enough.
-
Yes they will. You just need to adjust the set screw on the pouch. I have used the pouches with my TS in .40 and a CZ-75B.
-
Not to sound like a broken record but the CR speed pouches are the way to go.

I can't agree with you more G34! CZ makes a great product and they are able to keep there prices somewhat reasonable. If I hadn't been luck enough to have a friend in the know, who also shoots a S_I style gun, hip me to the TS I would've never been able to get into the sport. But for the price it's a great deal and since CZ Custom and other companies are able to do some cool stuff for them, you're getting a competitive gun for half the price. Good luck and good shooting.

Congrats my good man!!!! I love the Tactical Sport and just got back from my LGS with my CZ-75 Shadow. I truly believe the Tactical Sport is the most underrated competition pistol out there and the price is right too. I think you made a great buy!

Top Gun Supply is great. Only problem I had was I was driving when that email came out. By the time I checked it they were all out of stock again!
I got the e-mail at work. Went outside to place the order and they were sold out. Dang!

I have a set of new vz thin al grips for sale if anyone is interested. I prefer rubber.
Are those CZ thin aluminum grips?
Picked up a 75B SA... what to do?
