  1. OK, I know this is slow in coming but what a PITA it has been this year.

The stages are coming along great, as requested, all stages will consist of all 3 guns! Hey, the customers are always right...right? Anyhow, to save some time and help things along, please bring slings for both the shotgun and rifle!

Open shooters, our match will have places to use BIPODS!!!! We will not be using the incline walls like almost all other matches use.

Yes, we are bringing back a car stage, shooting a pistol out of! Because of the dust we decided not to shoot under the car:)

No DQ if you shoot slugs on close steel, we have made the decision that it is not a safety issue but you will be assessed a procedural penalty and a $25 fine to help with replacement of targets.

We have a new target this year...I call it the Double Death Star and Robert of R and R Targets calls it the "Double Star" and you can see it here...

and this video we asked him to shoot it slow! We have 2 of these...one with the shotgun and one with a pistol on seperate stages.

That is all for now...within the next 2 weeks we will be posting the real ammo requirement and stages.

Keep in touch and stay thirsty my friends...

Shoot fast, shoot accurate but most of all....shoot!

WoW I picked the perfect match to shoot for my first time! HA Ha ha ha ha

  2. To add to this, here are some pics of the pants while shooting. I love mine. Great flexibility and bomb proof construction.

    I love those photos!

Yeah, but Craig, you even make a kilt look good......

    :roflol:

LOL You have a very good point.

  3. I thought I would give a little review on my new Macot Work Wear Pants. Since the folks at ReconNW were kind enough to sponsor the NW Multi Gun Match earlier this year I was able to pick up a couple pairs of Lerida's with a hefty discount code. This model has the kevlar reinforced knee pockets that you can stick a knee pad into if you so choose. The fit is great. They are very rugged almost like a Carhart type material but softer and not so thick/hot. They have plenty of pockets for your kit but they don't look like tactical operator pants so you can actually wear them to work or out and about without looking like a commando. They are not made in the far east either so the quality is outstanding! I am going to try a pair of the Clavos and Houston's next.

Thanks for the review Jesse! I can't wait to see action shots. :D

RepCon NW sponsored the Northwest Multigun Challenge in 2011 and 2012 (and we hope 2013) and gave me a pair of these to try out. I take them to every match I shoot and find that I wear them more often, even when dirty, than the other brands that I have. The kneepad insert is one of the best features and is much more comfortable to use than the strap on pads. Mine still look like new after a year of hard use.

I had a blast at the NW Multigun Challenge this year! I'm sure REPCON NW will be doing more for the sport as the interest in MASCOT Workwear grows sales. :D

I'm gearing up to try my luck at some of the local matches next year. This year is just too hectic for me. Plus I at least have to buy a match pistol and get lots of practice in. ;)

  4. Hi Everyone,

My name is Bryan Freeman. I work at REPCON NW. We are the people with the MASCOT Workwear products. I wanted to join the forum as myself and not REPCON NW since I'm very interested in shooting at different local 3 Gun Events. I had so much fun taking pictures at the NW Multigun Challenge this year and thanks to Bill I was able to try my luck on one of the stages. I can say with all honesty that I sucked! With some practice and some great advice that so many of the shooters have given me, I'm getting a lot better. I'm happy to help anyone that might have questions regarding the MASCOT products but I do not want to step on anyone's toes or do anything that might get me kicked off the forum. I run a 4x4 Forum so I understand vendors and how they can go overboard with unwanted posts. So please let me know if I say or post anything I shouldn't.

    Thanks,

    Bryan Freeman
