  1. Funny thing is all Glock 17/34 up  until maybe 2010 had the half moon cutout in the grip. only Gen 4 and recent gen 3 have a closed in front.  I prefer the asthetics of the closed front but reloads are roughly the same between the two.

  2. D_Striker they guns between Production and Carry Optics are not the same. Originate from the same list but you can do far more modifications in Carry Optics than you can in production which is one of the reasons I've shot it a bit and haven't shot production in 5 plays years.  Not a huge live of CO but do think it is fun and gives you much more freedom!

  3. I am honestly amazed that anyone would trust or buy a RTS3 or 2 after the failure rate/upgrade situation with the entire RTS line. The Leupold DP2 is much better in all regards and now cheaper as well.

  4. It looks as if they aren't setting a sufficient gap between the end if the slide and the comp. they are looking for for a seemless look, but you need at least a 3-5 thou gap all the way around the comp when in lock up. Casically the slides are beating themselves to death.

  5. In my opinion a striker fired gun has more of an advantage in 3 Gun than a 2011. Not having to worry about a thumb safety getting brushed off when dumping is a huge advantage. Like Patrick said unless you are already at 80% at majors and the pistol is holding you back, you probably don't NEED one. This is coming from a guy who built custom 2011's :-).

  6. I have had most configuration and it really does boil down to personal preference and just learning the timing of the gun once you choose. Aesthetically I think the 5.4 is the best looking of the bunch, but cost can be a factor as the 5.4 is generally the most expensive option from most manufacturers as you traditionally pay for the more expensive 6" parts and the labor to lighten and adapt them to the 5.4/5.5. Not sure if it's the case with SV as they produce their parts in house.

  7. Hi Everyone. Those who are running the Arredondo mount with the Pro, are you running the 5-40 screws or did you re tap it for the larger Metric screws? I know you have to go to a much longer 5-40 when moving from the original Deltapoint to the Pro and just a bit worried about it possibly loosening. Thanks.

  8. Mark I have been using your twins for the last year and a half and love them! The issue for me with quads is body position to the grab completely changes the presentation to the gun. With deuces I can grab in any orientation facing any direction and the grab and load is the same. To me it's a huge advantage.

  9. Hi Everyone,

I was curious as to what you guys think. I have been loading two for about a year and a half and can consistently load 8 in a match in the 4.8-5 second range with no fumble factor. Now I have been messing with quad loading for about a month, practicing daily, trying different shell holders and the best I can hope is 4 seconds for 8 but about 2 loads out of 10 there is a fumble/dropped shell. Do you think a consistent load two that you can hit on demand with no fumble is much worse than a quad load you occasionally fumble. I know I will probably get better, but I'm really not lovin the quad load :-)

  10. We are a dealer for Magpul and our reps have said they have NO plans to produce 40 mags at this time, just 9mm. Just wanted to let you limited guys holding out hope know :-)
