How did that go?  Did you get it "Fixed"?

I'm shopping for triggers.... Trying to decide which way to go - GPT and tune, JG, Timney...

Yes, I sent it back and they “fixed” it. Still wasn’t happy with the results. I ended up selling it and buying a Timney.

  2. Ya I’ve watched a bunch of his videos and that sold me on his trigger. It feels good but just disappointed on the scale. I’m going to reach out to him Tuesday morning.

  3. Hey guys just bought my first Glock for Carry Optics. Went with a 47, bought a Johnny Glock competition trigger kit and little disappointed in it right now. I’ve bought a brand new never fired 47. Stock trigger pull it 5.25lbs when I put the JG trigger and assembled with the red firing pin spring it’s at 4.5lbs when I change to the lower green firing pin spring I’m seeing it at 4lbs even. I was expecting sub 3lbs at minimum? I plan to call them on Monday but I’m assuming this is not standard. Anyone done a trigger and checked them on a scale?

just for s#!ts and giggles I tried the stock fring assembly with the JC red fring pin spring and it’s at 4.5lbs as well. Like the trigger kit has no bearing

  4. Getting back in Open after a little time away and pretty much decided on going with a DPP or RTS2.

Last I played in Open RTS2’s were failing left and right, is this still happening?

A friend told me the DPP is the way to go, I’ve  read some failures on here now. What’s seems to be the  consensus on these sights versus each other?

Set up the X5 last night.  Thanks to Scott Springer for the base pads, extended mag release and mounting plate.  Went with the Vortex Venom.  I will try to get out in the next couple of days and see how it does.IMG_0248.JPG.22a13c3d0eee42eb3ffd2b103307f22b.JPGIMG_0250.JPG.8c47079ac9351e6dd80bdcfd7f3ab448.JPG

Did you have to file the mount or anything to fit it? Got my Venom yesterday and mount should be here today

  6. Trouble shooting question. Took my MPX apart Thursday and cleaned it up and lubed it. Pulled the piston and cleaned the carbon up best I could. Took it out this morning at a match and basically was a single shot?
Bolt would not come back, bolt would not move. Like there was no gas system, only blow back. Had to rack it after every shot I took. Racked smooth and is well lubed. Any ideas?

  7. Good write up, Con #5 they have to bring the gun out with atleast a 5lb trigger or they just completely isolated the gun from the over seas ipsc market and with marketing it as a competition gun that would be a no no....

mine just shipped to my FFL. Can't wait!

  8. Never mind called the Sig proshop and got inline with the preorder. First batch is all shipped out they said should have more in a few weeks....

  9. So you can order one directly from Sig? I see a few people saying they are getting guns shipped to them is that how guys are getting them. Everywhere I've tried tells me that gun is still listed as out of stock

  10. Lock Screw size for RTS

I removed the lock screw from my STS (I have an RTS and a STS ) and compared a "spare" 2-56 screw and found that

the 2-56 screw is way too small.

    5-40 screws are too big.

I will buy some 4-40 x 1/4" screws to try -- OR email C-More (duh)

Maybe I'm going nuts and bolts or SCREWY !

Pretty sure I tried a 4/40 and won't work. Size is right but wrong thread pattern

  11. Might be screwed... It's a weird sized screw and has a little tip on it. I lost one a while back. I called Cmore and they said probably won't find one. They were right I went to hobby, RC and hardware stores and no luck. They did ship me one free of charge but took almost 2 weeks

  12. Hey guys, I'm looking for a place to order a custom jersey.

I'd like a dry-fit long sleeve v-neck with my name across the back and a couple of logos.

Can you point me to a web site or a place you use and would recommend?

    Thx!

    lol it's GoFast time!!

  13. Most match barrels are made of stainless steel so I guess you need to use Loctite primers no matter what your comp is made of.

You really should. Guys talking about comps coming lose after time. Use primer and that will almost eliminate that issue. Also no need your that ugly set screw that some people use
