  1. Hi,

After recently installing a Ghost Rocket connector in a Glock 34, I noticed a wear mark on the bottom of the right slide rail. If I dry fire and then retract the slide to trip the connector (while holding the trigger rearwards), I can see the trigger bar comes up pretty high inside the frame (higher than stock). Although it doesn't appear to be touching the slide, I figured that maybe when it heats up or gets dirty & tolerances are consumed this could explain the wear marks as newly formed & caused by the rocket connector. However, I then checked an old Gen 2 17 that has a few (10k+) rounds through it that's running a Glock 3.5 connector and LW trigger housing (w/ set screw for OT) and it has similar wear marks on the right side. The 17 has never had a Ghost Rocket connector. Both guns run fine, so this isn't a functional concern. It has, however, generated some curiosity...

Is wear in this area normal for a stock gun with ~15k rounds fired? Is this a known issue when using the Ghost Rocket connector?

    Thanks :)
