Off topic question. Will there be a team match at York this year?
Yes October 9th
-
7131 IRON STONE HILL RD
DALLASTOWN PA, 17313
Yours is close enough
-
Are there still spots?
-
I have been using the small TMMS for my holster for 2 years. I bolted it to my els belt works well.
-
Yes as long as it doesn't say reload must come from belt.
-
If they are we can't find them.
-
How do we squad in this match?
-
Remington blue hull low recoil slugs. They cycle the gun and shoot a 10" group at 100 yds out of my gun.
-
I think the silence of the match quality speaks for it's self.

First off I would like to thank the RO's for working this match spending 14 hrs on the range for three days for not much more than a thank you. I would also like to thank the sponsors that did sponsor the match. This is the first match I have ever shot that took 7 hrs to shoot 4 stages. They still have a lot to learn and work to do. If you want to see a better match at peacemaker wait for the questionnaire to get sent out and let them have it. Yes the prize table was less than advertised.

Look like I should start sucking wind now.

Do you have any info when the 223 will be ready.
-
Is this match full?
There are spots available

Anybody heard from the FFL handling the transfers yet? Or remember their name?
I have not heard from them either

The Lee dies work but they are not as smooth as Dillion's dies. I do use Lee FC die for crimping.

I take enough caddies to hold 24 rounds on my belt. Sometimes that isn't enough shells and I will borrow a chest rig from a squad mate. If you don't have enough someone will lend you what you need. That is the great thing about this sport.
As far as pistol mags normally two mags on your belt are good enough.

I run a ADM Recon with my swaro. If you shoot nose to charging handle get the Recon X. If not get the Recon.
-
Make sure your shells are square to your wrist as you come around your belt each caddie should be turned a little more than the last from left to right. It will help your grab.

A true 1 X Red Dot sight by far the fasts No parallax with both eyes open . Having to line up the rear sight with the front will take time off the clock. In my mind a fiber optic front post with a simpler rear would be faster.
Yes I agree my swaro on 1 power is faster than sights but my sights are faster than changing the power on my scope with a cattail. I only use the offset sights when a stage has long range and close hoser targets.
-
I have the dueck defense off set sights. When I roll the gun over I just look for the front sight my eye is right in line with the rear sight. I'm not looking for a perfect sight picture just good enough to hit the target.
-
What I do with mine is sight them in before a major. When I go look at the stages before the match I look to see if I will use them on any stage. If I'm not going to use them I take them off so they can't get caught on anything or get in the way. If I need them there ready to go. But you have to decide to take them off before the start of the match.

I too am looking for offset sights for this season. Are there any rules in 3 gun against folding offset sights? I searched, but couldn't find any information. In other words, do offset sights need to be fixed? It would be nice to fold them out of the way on courses of fire where they aren't needed.
There are no rules that I know of that would limit the use of folding sights.

I think there is 1 or 2 left for each day. If you haven't signed up yet I would do it. I bet it will be full before the end of the month.
