  1. I looked at the Rudy stuff at my eye doc and after talking to the guy who does their lenses he advised me that my script would not work well in a wrap type frame. I went with a pair of large safety glasses that have excellent field of view and standard side sheilds. No bifocal and we shall see. My right eye uses contacts with a monovision and my power was borderline so she bumped them up one level. Should know next week or so if it was a good investment.

So, did it work? Those of us that are sight-challenged need to know!

  2. First post here, still learnin and loadin.

I'm very happy that I finally made the plunge into reloading. Just working on 45acp thus far, with 230g

Berrys and RMR Copper. W231/Hp38 has been nice and soft for paper and steel fun shoots.

I wanted to also give some praise to Inline Fab's Ergo roller handle and 'skylight' setups. I've used a friends Dillon 650 without this type of lighting, and I can really see the 'light' clearly :surprise: on my press.

It helps me verify a normal charge in each case, and gives me extra peace of mind without a mechanical nanny device.

I'll probably get the re-painted Dillon LPA soon, color matched for the Red Kool-Aid press fans.

I liked their light setup so much that I made one just like it! lol Now about that roller handle...

  3. Hi yall, I'm Mark - I hail from Nashville, TN. This is a great forum, I have been enjoying reading so much I almost forgot to say hi. I have shot a few rounds of IDPA, still waiting to get my feet wet in other types (course the way I shoot I need to wait until I can find 1000's more buliets!

I shoot with an M&P 9mm and a .45, Colt Commander in .45 and a Keltec Sub2000 in 9mm. I reload with a Hornady Lock N Load (dn't knock me, I'm from a red state and I load with a red press! Take a wild guess what my favorite color is...)

I hope to get to know a few of yall!

  4. I left fired primers in the cases and then added fine (playbox) sand, equilivent to my power weight (or sort of matter with 45, I honestly couldnt tell in 9mm but it was a MAJOR difference from an empty mag to one maxed out. I have never found snap-caps as heavey as a loaded round. YMMV
