  1. Is it possible to grind down the second notch on the bolt and ghost load the vinci the same way as the m2?

I found a tread where they said that the lifter stays halfway up when the bolt is forward, but i usually float a shell from the magazine on the lifter by pressing the release before shooting.

    Has anyone tried?

  2. Living in Norway i have two Benelli Vinci shotguns.

Both of them have a 26'' barrel.

I would like to cut one of them to 19'' and make it into a short fun gun.

I found a gunsmith that says he can cut the barrel and fit it with Briley chokes, even thou its Chrome lined as I have understood.

Does anyone have any experiense cutting down a Benelli barrel that short?

    Does it reduce reliability?

    Greetings from Norway

  3. Has any of you guys tried hunting with your 3 gun shotguns?

I was thinking of buying an m2 with a 21'' barrel, but I would like to hunt with it as well as a short shotgun while in the woods.

Yes I know that you have to limit the magazine, but is the 21'' to short?

I already have a supernova with a 28'' barrel, this will be my backup for hunting and when hunting in dense woods.

  4. I enjoy shooting different plattforms like my Glock, CZ, Sig and so on, but will this damage my training?

Am i better of only shooting one plattform in all my training?

Is it okay to train two days a week with my primary and one day a week with something else? revolver, 1911, glock, CZ?

I ask because I really want to buy myself a 1911 in ,45 but I am afraid that it may confuse my little brain even more than before;)

Different triggers, different grip, different feel.

It looks like most of the big guys are running different platforms on occation, but primarly train with there main platform.

like shooting production to get a rest from open.

  5. So i have my trusty Glock 17 here in Norway.

I also have an SP01 Shadow.

I actually don't shoot any better with my shadow than my glock 17, and since my G17 hasn't had any malfunctions and the Shadow has had several, I choose to shoot the G17 in production.

Under IPSC rules, I cant shoot the G34 in production, so that what i have.

Sadly theres not to many IPSC matches in my area, only about 5 a year within 4 hour drive:(

There is a lot of field and 9mm bullseye competitions though.

That why I was thinking about buying a G34 to shoot these matches to stay on the same platform and use them for training for IPSC.

I allready have a 22lr match pistol for the smallbore matches:)

Is buying the G34 worth it for 25yard bullseye compared to sticking with the 17 and buying 2.000 more rds?

I know that this is hard to describe, but how big is the difference?

I am trying to test out a G34, but I only know one guy who has one, and he is on a deployment for another month:(

I'm only allowed to own a small amount of handguns in the same caliber here, and i'm also planning on buying a backup 17 and a G19, so my allowance is getting thin.

  6. I have found that I love my Glock more than any pistol.

I think that I will spend more time training with a gun that I always look forward to shooting, even though I understand that the trigger is more of a duty type than competition type.

If I beat 10 out of 15 with my Glock at an event, I think I will feel better than if I beat 11 with a Customized ''race gun''.

  7. With the CZ in 3000rds I have had two bad primer strikes, two FTF, 3 stove pipes and the mags wont drop free with the slide locked back.

The glock has had a bad primer strike, but I checked the primer, and it was a solid hit.

I am faster with the glock at shorter ranges.

At distance, and more accurate shots I am a tad faster with the cz with the same accuracy.

The glock is bone stock gen 4 G17 with a 6,5lbs trigger pull.

I am Installing the minus connector soon to bring the trigger pull down to the 5lbs range to see if that makes a difference.

  8. For IPSC Standard, pretty much the same as USPSA Limited.

Can you be competitive with lets say a G35?

Will you be beaten by 2011?

I would think that priority one is training.

Priority 2 is having a reliable gun.

Far down on third place on the list, trigger, weapon weight, magazine capacity and so on.

Everyone keeps telling me that the glock doesn't belong on the range, only custom match guns like CZ, 2011, tangfoglios and so on.

So even thou I saw the custom guns go down one by one, I bought a CZ myself.

I might be a tad faster with it, but it keeps failing on me every 500rds or so with different failures everytime.

I am thinking of selling everything exept glocks.

Does the glocks start failing if to start swithing out parts as well?

Triggers, springs, guide rods, mags, and so on

  9. Som You think That i Will be hovering inn The 5lbs range with The minus connector.

I Read someplace That the same connector will give a heavyer pull in the gen4.

I found i shop inn Norway that sells the Wolf 3,5 connector.

Thougt about buying It to test It out and ordering a oem one if i like it.

    Does it feel the same?

  10. I have a Gen 4 Glock 17 in Norway.

I would like to get the trigger pull down to 5lbs for production.

The connector does not have any markings at this time.

    Which connector do I need?

It has to bee Glock OEM.

    Minus connector or dot?

    Other?

I havent measured the trigger pull weight as it stands, but I guess its well above 5 lbs.
