Thanks, guys. Great info.

I know it's all personal preference, what makes a good competition trigger for an M&P.
I have an adjustable trigger.
Is it best to have very little take up movement?
It's breaking with a very crisp snap at about 5.5 pounds. Should I go lighter?
Thanks.

Since, I'm shooting the match in one day, Thursday.
Is the Sat. Night program worth staying around for? Just thinking about the added hotel cost. Is it a "must be present" thing to win any prizes?
Thanks

Good stuff, Rowdyb. Thanks!flying is simple. hard case, locked, in checked luggage. declare it when checking in with the agent. fill out forms, wait for tsa and then go.
in the past people have shipped ammo to the range yes.
there are cheaper hotesl in tulsa but nothing is really close to the range.
if you are reasonably fit and good at keeping your focus, i think shooting in one day is fine. have clothes for different weather. eat snacks and drink more than enough fluids. your brain runs on sugar, do not bonk.

Just a great range! They also have a 800 yard range. Very, very nice setup.

Squad 26. It's going to be a long day. Any cheaper hotel/motels nearby than the match hotel? Thanks.

I got selected with one point. It's my first time making application. Was not expecting to get into the match. Just got into IDPA.

This is just a great range, and fun and challenging matches. Very very nice, friendly helpful range officers. They're 800 yard range is sweet.

Got skunked again this year. To the AM waiting list I go.

Anybody run a 20 pound recoil Spring their M&P long slide models? I use factory ammo. I understand the benefit of the lighter Spring for matches. Just wondering who goes with a heaver Spring. Thanks.

I'm interested.

I bought one last year. No problems so far. I do like the finish. It is easy to clean. Been using froglube.

AncientShooter, what do mean by "forcing cone lengthened"? I have the JM 24-inch.
Thanks,

What would be a good soft case for my AR-15 and Mossberg JM, 24-inch, shotgun with attached Xrail? Would a drag bag-style of case be the way to go with the size of the XRail? Any XRail, Open Div. Shooters out there?
Thanks,

I'm sure your wife will find something soon and you'll be O3GC bound. I did sign up to RO again. Looking forward to it.Looking forward to my second O3G! Great match and folks.
Are you planning to RO again?
I WAS planning on it, but, my wife lost her job last week, and I'm hoping something works out shortly, otherwise, I won't even have gas money to get down there.

Looking forward to my second O3G! Great match and folks.

The round count will be around 150 per gun.
I know it's way early, but what would the estimated round count be for the match?
Thanks for the info guys!!!

Thanks again, guys.
I'm just going to show up and shoot. I'm just looking to improve my pistol craft, be it in whatever division and scoring system.
I'll keep reading the rule book, but my aim is to have fun and learn from the best.
Thanks,

Thanks for the info guys. I understand the scoring for minor. I'm okay with that, or ending up in open division. Sounds cool. I just want to have fun and learn. I don't think i'll set the shooting world on fire or score a major sponsor deal anytime soon. Just looking for info, advice and help with the USPSA rules.
Thanks again,

Thanks! Good info.

Will these glock 19 mods put me in the USPSA Limited Div:
-grip reduction and stippling the frame to index my support hand thumb.
In a different area, do the pistol rules, such major and minor factors, play into USPSA 3-gun rules?
Thanks

Do folks still use palm pilots or did the ballistic apps take over?
