  1. Steel is cheap - I got four pieces of steel and target stands to go along with it for less than $100.

Get some circular gongs from MGM or Arntzen and go to Lowe's to get shepards hooks to hang them with.

I haven't shot my pistol at them yet (and won't shoot my rifle at them) and I foresee them lasting until they rust to pieces - which will be a very long time since I take care of them.

What type of Steel and Where?

  2. BE Careful, 18 inches is min legal length for shotgun barrel with out federal tax stamp (read pricey). There are ways the comp could be counted in that measurement has to be "permenantly attached" pinned and welded ect. tread carefully here and get professional advice on using the comp in the measurement.

  3. OK so my new 930 JM Pro, came with several different stock shims, I get how to attach them have changed several remington stocks over the years.

what I could use direction on is how to determine which one I need/should use. My extent of shotgunning has been rabbit hunting the back 40 and shooting clays from portable thrower with some buddies.

    Any guidance would be appreciated

    THANKS GIBB

  8. AM SEARCHING FOR A NICE USED GUN IN MY AREA FOR 3 GUN LOCAL MATCHES. IN MY SEARCHES I CAME ACROSS A NICE REM 1100 LEFTY PASSED ON IT BECAUSE IT WAS LEFTY. RECENTLY WATCHED SEVERAL FIRE BIRD 1919 VIDEOS, APPEARS CHARGING HANDLE IS ON LEFT, QUICK FORUM SEARCH HERE REVEALED SEVERAL OPIONS THAT LEFTY SHOOTERS WOULD BENIFIT FROM SHOOTING A RIGHTY GUN. SO I AM LOOKING FOR OPINIONS AS TO A QUALITY LEFTY GUN FOR A RIGHTY SHOOTER??? I REALIZE THAT EJECTION PORT FACING MY FACE IS INHERENTLY LESS SAFE ALSO.
