My wife just got me a 3000 for Christmas (I love that woman). I hope to use it for 3 gun matches here in the peoples republic of Illinois. She picked up the 28" barrel; Should I exchange it for the 26?
Anyone have an opinion??

There is a huge thread on this topic already....but I have 7000 rounds of Bear Creek (similar) bullets through my Glock 34 stock barrel.

What holster are you running? If it can be tensioned, loosen it up. A smooth draw shouldn't make your belt move a bit.
This is just a production / IDPA rig. A blackhawk kydex paddle, heavy leather belt and (usually jeans). This is happening from many dry fire repetitions. It has not occured in a match. perhaps I need to practice with dual belt setup.

I have noticed that in the last month that when I write a long post that has multiple paragraphs separated by carriage returns that when I submit the post the carriage returns are not being input and all of the text gets jammed together in a big wall of text. Some times if I go to edit the post, the carriage returns are there and the text is separated correctly and if I resave the post it will display properly. Is this due to the version of browser I am using (Firefox V23)? I will see if I can recreate the error below with a series of sentences with carriage returns in between each one...... There should be a carriage return between this sentence and the one above and below. There should be a carriage return between this sentence and the one above and below. There should be a carriage return between this sentence and the one above.
Many people sware that they have a hard fore finger focus when aiming at the return key when in fact at the exact microsecond their finger actually contacts the keyboard they either blink or are transitioning too quickly to the next target key in the array.
Sorry. Couldn't resist. P.S. there should be a CR above this line.

My (almost daily) dry fire practice includes many draws from a holster, and my right side belt loops are almost all broken now. I did a search and came up with O. Am I the only one ruining my pants with dry fire? Is this an indication that I am doing something wrong?

Thanks for the input. I'll call the store, see what is in stock and weigh the hassle factor.
