Why not just stipple it yourself? It isn't that hard. It won't slim them up any though unless you remove material before stippling with a sander or something.

You may already do this, but I find rotating my support side elbow up helps to press the meaty part of my support hand into the gun helping with the grip. Lots of guys already do it, but anyway. Thought I would throw it out there because I was having the same issue until I started doing that.

I used to really suck with a shotgun until I started using a push/pull technique (I shoot a pump), it solved a lot of my problems. So I still suck, just less now

Pretty cool. I stippled my stock beretta grips but haven't been able to figure out what to do about the back strap. This may be my solution.

I shoot my carry gun exclusively for IDPA. I don't always use the same holster though. I carry IWB and typically run an OWB for matches.

That does look really good. Would be interested to hear how it wears over time, if any.

You could also stipple the plastic grip panels or use marine-tex to texturize the panels and frame to match.

I just started shooting club level IDPA last year (4 matches) and am going for master class this year. Hopefully I make it.

For me personally, it seems to be more important what I do with my arms than what I do with my hands. With my wrists locked and fingers wrapped around the pistol grip I rotate my left elbow up slightly and that leverages the meaty part of my left hand at the base of the thumb into the grip on the pistol. It applies a lot of pressure on the grip, giving my hand traction, but doesn't require a great deal of muscle tension. At least in my experience.
