  1. You send us Vodka Special Saiga 12's with bad gas systems. Remington is just returning the favour with their Bourbon Specials... :roflol:

    Best comment!))

Honestly speaking, you did not see our defect Saigas in internal market. I'll try to share some pictures.

And what about Vepr? All my friends in Open class uses Veprs.

  2. I had an AD this past weekend while loading my shotgun. I thought I share my experience as this is the third time I have seen it happen in a match. Be careful ladies and gents. The AD is at the end of the video. I loaded the gun and when I went to roll it back over my ring finger got in the trigger guard and BOOM!

During last match I had a AD (DQ) on same reason - when I rolled shotgun back, my ring finger dot in to the trigger guard and pulled the trigger.

  3. I moved my post to another section:

So, i think will be better to continue in moved topic.

I'm not so experienced shooter but I'll tell you about shooting sports in Russia. I think, would be better to make it in sepatare thread.

Usualy we have 1 local match in our area in 2-3 month. Our team trains every Sunday on shooring range in 40 km from Moscow.

We use birdshot in 90%, buckshot in 5% and slug in 5% during our trainings.

Last match we had 6 birdshot stages and 1 buckhshot stage.

We not use combine shots, only separates.

  4. Before pinweel 8, I used speedstrippers and load2 from Cahmeleon.

But system from Carbonarms looks very intresting and I have ordered 4 SSLs for using in IPSC shotgun.

So, the parcel crossed the ocean and I took it from post office.

At 4 Novemver I tested 3 pinweels 8 first time during training.

All works fine! And so many possible positions and variants.

Load 2 method from Spinweel works fast, load 4 needs to be trained in not so greasy conditions :) as you may see on photos.

Next weekend, system was tested on Moscow region shotgun competitions - worked better than me ;).

  5. I traded a guy 1000 rounds of .223 ammo that I loaded for a Remington 870 Wingmaster. It has a 18.5" barrel, mag tube extension and a Pachmayr pistol grip set. I'm trying to put together a shotgun for 3 Gun matches on the cheap. I've only shot one 3 Gun match and shoot maybe 3 a year. Tons of fun just don't shoot em often.

    A few questions:

    1. Should I throw a stock on this 870 and run it?

    2. How much is this thing worth on a trade in?

    3. If I can get a decent trade what should I get?

    Thanks for the help

As 2 cents fromIPSC shooter using Rem 870:

You can buy cheap stock on clearanses or ebay and start using rem for matches, but has battel on your Rem chokes? AsI know 18.5 is cylinder barrel and some times you may toch noshoot targets. To prevent is better to use wad with containers.

Or change barrel to 20' or 22' with choke :), but it will be not in frames of budget desigion :)

  6. Greetings Maxim,

In your area of Russia, are shell-carriers like this one available?

Yes. Some use CCW manufactured, some (me to) use analogs, produced py our local manufactures Stich Profi. But I seek for load two shell carriers.

  7. Gentelmen,

Wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to this site, but not new shotguns.

My name is Maxim. I'm Remington 870 owner. I started shooting IPSC shotgun about 3 years ago. I found youe forum on Carbon Arms website and I'm looking forward to learning more about competitive shooting and fast reloading of shotguns.
