  1. I'm thinking of putting a set of Night sights on my XD sub compact in .40 cal. What's the best brand? Which is the brightest?

I need to find a holster that comfortable and concealable. Is leather better than Nylon? What's the best brand?

    Thanks for the help.

  2. Maybe I give it a try. Being new, Glocks seem pretty easy to work on.(I did the install on the 3.5lbs. connector.) Is this something easy to install. Or should I have a pro do the install?

It sure would be a lot easier to experiment if I could do it myself.

What should I look out for?

  3. I'm considering installing a Wolff reduced power firing pin spring into my G22 I shot Ipsc with.

On glockmeister.com they say that when combined with a 3.5 lbs. connector the trigger break pull will be around 3.375 lbs.

    Is their any down side?

Will this increase the chance of a light strick or mis-fire?

Right now I'm still using factory loads.

    Thanks for the help. :)

  4. Check out www.airsoftextreme.com

I purchased a G18c. I use for Ipsc practice, shooting courses of fire in the garage.

Stay away from the spring or electric versions, its the gas blow backs that are closer to the real thing.

Shooting airsoft has helped me with shooting on the move and site picture.

But it has its limits. Even with the modifications I have done to my G22 (the real one) the airsoft gun has a lighter trigger pull than the G22 I shoot IPSC.

I try not to get to dependent on the Airsoft for that reason.

Its still alot of fun.

  5. Just wondering what other people think or have experienced.

I shoot IPSC with a G22. I've heard and read that glocks work best with minimal lube. And I've noticed that to be true. But I wounder about the trigger connector (3.5 Lbs.). Glock uses a copper colored paste and in the past I've used a little Mil Tec oil. That only attract dirt.

Should I run the connector a little on the dry side or is their a better way?

I usually clean it after 300-500 rounds.

  6. For me the essence of shooting...

Is a harmonious balance of man ( man or woman ) and machine. In one word "perfection". Shooting A's with your body instinctively reacting to what you're seeing and experiencing. :D
