The Novakon actually has 6000 rpm spindle, not sure if yours was an older model. That is more than the Tormach.

No I have the stepper motors and it does everything I need it to do, but I have thought about buying the servo's. It's not bad to update.
They have people in the US, where are you located? When I bought mine I was even able to talk with the owner of the company, pretty much unheard of these days.
I would be glad to introduce you to him or help you in any way. Don't get me wrong the Tormach is a great machine, but not the only one on the market that can do what you are wanting to do for around the same money.
Really what sold me was the support, the power of the machine and the size of the table.
Let me know if I can help in any way.

I would check out Novakon for their CNC machine. It's a little bigger than the Tormach You get more bang for the buck. I just got mine and love it. It has a bigger work table incase you want or need to make something a little bigger. The customer service has been awesome. Send me a pm if you want to know more.

I had the same issue and mine was the adjustment on the lever that slides the bar back and forth. It was very aggravating but I walked away from it for a couple of hours and came back to try again. This time I was able to get it adjusted correct. They are great machines but at times can drive you crazy.

This is what I'm using. Very happy with it.
HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS $159.99
How about a link to the workbench or part number? Thanks!
I just picked one up today for $139.00 on sale. It's item #69054 and the coupon code is #55550874.
Now all I have to do is build it, place an order with Brian, and wait!

I use the two head method on the 1050, it does require some time to change the head, but the more you do it the better and faster you get.
-
Almost everyone I know that preps .223.. does it on a 1050.. swage and trim on the same cycle - get the brass completely ready
eta: Loading.. can then be done on any press
same here.
-
I really like my 650 then add the 1050 and that is a much better machine. Like others have said, if you have the money and can wait a while get it and don't look back.

Gunbot.net is a page that tracks availability of shooting stuff. Also has a tracker for some reloading components.

I use this a lot.

gixxerjunky,
I am sorry for the lack of detailed reply info. I have been working flat out - 7-days a week, and just barely keeping up with precessing the orders coming through my store.
I do review every order however, before turning them loose with Dillon. So if anythign deesn't "make sense" in your order, I will contact you before it goes "in line."
And, you can always type any concerns into the Customer Message field of the Check Out page - I respond to every one of those.

That's what he did for me a month ago. He called when I made a mistake and really saved me some money. Thanks Brian!

Another one for Brian. After I placed my order he called me to ask if I meant to order two sets of the same die. Of course I didn't. Dillon would have just sent the other set. Thanks Brian!

So I noticed that if I order the Redding die, I have to order the bushing separate. Is this correct or do you need the bushing?
Like you, I run a seperate toolhead for trimming. On station 1 of that toolhead I put the Redding FL/SB die. If I remember correctly, my bushing for LC 223 is .245. If you still have trouble pulling the expander through the neck, you can go wider. Remember, the trim die will size the neck down also, so don't worry about neck tension.
Swager on station 2, trimmer in the slot where you normally would put the powder check.
Thanks for the info.

Yep, pull handle just a little, push silver bar to advance dial. With a case in station one, I push the lever 6 times, when I size then advance, the primer is there. At the end, when my alarm goes off, I have 11 primers left.
For the primer chute, you can jury-rig something on your own, or go with a plug and play solution: http://www.uniquetek...6/product/T1346
What he said!!! The Uniquetek fix works great. I also advance 6 times and at the end have 11 left over.

Yep, that's what I did this time!
Thanks, I will try this as soon as I order some new de-capping pins.
For decapping pins I usually order a few ten packs. When I open my last one, I order a few more. It seems that I can often load 1000s of rounds without bending one, and then I'll bend 3-4 in a 100 rounds.....
I just see them as a consumable wear item....

I also use a Redding small base die. I could not get rounds to chamber in my JP CTR-02 or my Sabre Defence AR-15s until I went to the small base die. There must be a difference in the Dillon and Redding dies. I was using a Dillon and the rounds would not chamber in two of my guns. Since I have changed I have experienced zero problems. I use LC brass.

The 1100 is a good machine but I opted for the Novakon for the larger table and a little faster speed. This could have changed since I got mine. Either way you will be happy with the 1100 or the pro.
